Lucille H. Owen
Lucille H. Owen, 91, of Augusta died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 1997, at Walnut Valley Nursing Home in Augusta.
Her graveside service will be in Lathrop (Mo.) Cemetery with Cox Funeral Home of Plattsburg, Mo., in charge of the arrangements.
Lucille H. Hartzell was born Jan. 8, 1906, to Charles and Hattie (Carter) Hartzell in Lathrop, Mo.
She married George Owen. He preceded her in death.
She was a bookkeeper.
Survivors are son, Charles Owen of Jeannette, Pa.; daughter, Eleanor Goldsmith of Augusta; sister, Frances Hartzell of Cameron, Mo.; grandchildren, Cindy Nickel and Laura Fulks both of Augusta, Mark Goldsmith of Wichita, George Owen of Maner, Pa., John Owen of Youngwood, Pa., Paul Owen of Newark, Del., and Patty Sundberg of Tucson, Ariz., and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marjorie and a grandson Michael.
A memorial has been established with Augusta Public Library, 1609 State St., Augusta, KS, 67010.
Axcie D. Call
Axcie D. Call, 93, of Augusta died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 1997.
Her graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at Allen (Okla.)Cemetery.
Axcie D. Kidwell was born Dec. 28 1903, in Allen, Okla., to Thomas K. and Claudia (Phillips) Kidwell. She graduated from Allen High School in 1925 and attended Drai|ghons Business School in Denton, Texas.
She married Claude C. Call June 28, 1928 in Allen. She preceded her in death in 1967.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Allen, Eastern Star and Pioneer Club.
Survivors are daughter, Donna J. Mossman of El Dorado;
brothers Gladstone Kidwell of Allen, Okla, and Austin Kidwell of Ada, Okla.;
sister, Ruby Yount of Allen, Okla.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
A memorial has been established with First Baptist Church building fund in Allen, Okla.
Contributions may be sent to Kirby-Morris Funeral Home in El Dorado, which is in charge of the arrangements.
Oliver F. Todd
Oliver Franklin Todd, 69, of Augusta died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 1997, at the Augusta Medical Complex.
His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at
Dunsford Chapel. Rev. Chuck Terrill of Haverhill Christian Church will officiate.
Oliver Franklin Todd was born Jan. 2, 1928, in Tahoka, Texas, to Luther D. and Bessie May (Griffin) Todd.
He married Nina May Gooch.
He served in the Army Air Force and was a flightline mechanic at Cessna Aircraft before his retirement.
Survivors are wife, Nina Todd of Augusta; son, Mike Todd of Newman, Ga.;
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. daughters, Mary Delane Alachniewicz of Badger, Iowa, Shirley Sigwing of Augusta, Linda Ferguson of Andover, Patricia Kuntz of Derby and Bessie Wood of Douglass; sister, Juanita McClelland of Clovis, N.M.; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Edgar Leroy Shields, 73, of Augusta died Monday, Feb. 17, 1997, at Augusta Medical Complex.
A memorial service will follow cremation. Services are pending with Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
Edgar Leroy Shields was born Feb. 18, 1923, to Barney McCoy and Gertrude (Evans) Shields.
He served in the U.S. Army and was an electrical engineer at Boeing before his retirement.
Survivors are sister, Ellen Wright of Wichita; niece, Barbara Markel of Douglass; great-nieces, Phoebe Carlson of Wichita and Cindy Crabaught of Hop, Mich, and great-nephew Christopher Faidley of Augusta. j-jio-cn
