Mitchell
Mitchell “Mitch” Dane Ice, 48, of Augusta died Sunday, March 2, 1997, in Wichita.
His family will receive visitors from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, March 7, at Dunsford Chapel.
His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at Dunsford Chapel. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
The name of a surviving brother, Mark Ice of Peoria, 111., was not in the funeral information outline received yesterday
by the Gazette.
A memorial has been established with the Mitchell Ice Memorial Fund. Contributions can be sent to Prairie State Bank, P.O. Box 520, Augusta, KS. 67010.
Herman Rounds
Former Augustan Herman W. Rounds, 90, of Greeley Colo., died Sunday, March 30,1997.
A memorial service followed cremation Thursday, April 3 in Greeley. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, April 11, at Elmwood Cemetery.
Survivors are wife, Katherine Rounds of Greeley, Colo.; son, Whitney Rounds, of Des Moines, Iowa; step-daughters, Judy of Kansas City and Carolyn of Hot Springs, Ark.; brother, Alfred O. Rounds of Wichita and five grandchildren.
