Jay Schwartzkopf
Jay N. Schwartzkopf, 67, of Augusta, died Saturday, May 10 1997.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Dunsford Funeral Home. His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, at Christ Lutheran Church with Rev. Daniel Metzger officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Jay N. Schwartzkopf was born April 8, 1930, in Bison to Frederick and Emma (Kaiser) Schwartzkopf.
He married Ingrid Shaefer July 30, 1961, in Otis.
He served in the U.S. Navy and was an aerospace engineer at Beech Aircraft before his retirement. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
Survivors are wife, Ingrid Schwartzkopf of Augusta; son, Ronald J. Schwartzkopf of Topeka; brothers, Sheldon Schwartzkopf of Bison and Gary Schwartzkopf of San Jose, Calif., and grandchildren, Jo and Cameron Jay Schwartzkopf and Brennen C.M. Hite.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
A memorial has been established with Christ Lutheran Church, 1500 Cron, Augusta, KS. 67010.

Mary E. Wilson
Mary Elizabeth Wilson, 72, of Augusta died Sunday, May 11, 1997, at Via Christi-St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.
Her funeral service will be at
2 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, at Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta Chapel. Rev. Alfonso A. Maldonado will officiate. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
Mary Elizabeth Dake was born Oct. 10, 1924, in St. Anthony, Mo. to Grover and Josephine Pearl (Warden) Dake.
She married Oscar L. Wilson Jan. 13, 1942, in Union, Mo. He preceded her in death Nov. 27, 1942.
Survivors are sons, Larry Wilson and Roger Wilson both of Wichita; daughters, Carrie Mattingly of Andover and Sue Foulk of Wichita; brothers, Walter Dake of Harlingen, Texas and Bill Dake of Crocker, Mo.; sisters, Francis Rowdend and Martha Helton both of Crocker, Mo.; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Parents of Murdered Children. Contributions may be sent to Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta, dT-/*/ -f^

Kathryne Rose Wilcox, 69, of El Dorado, and mother of Paul Wilcox and Ken Wilcox of Augusta died Saturday, May 10, 1997, at Via Christi-St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.

Kathryne Rose Roland was born July 6, 1927, in Troy to John E. and Katie H. (Foster) Roland.
She married Charles Wilcox Nov. 6, 1946, in Atchison.
Survivors are husband, Charles Wilcox of El Dorado; sons, Robert Wilcox of El Dorado and Paul Wilcox and Kim Wilcox both of Augusta; daughter, Shirley Cummins of Cummings; brothers, Philip Roland and Billie Roland both of Severance; sisters, Phyllis Highley and Nina Carter both of Severance; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Kenneth Wilcox.
Memorials have been established with the American Diabetes Association and First Baptist Church of Augusta Kitchen Fund.
