Daughter Dies In Wichita
Patricia A. Newman, 43, Wichita, daughter of Jack and Jocelyn Foster of Augusta, died Saturday at her home.
Her service was at 10 a.m. today at the Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita. Pastor Robert Moser officiated and burial was in the Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
She was born March 13, 1939 in Wichita to Jack P. and Lois Trenary Foster. Her mother preceded her in death.
She was clerk for the Sedgwick County appraiser’s office.
Survivors include sons, Jack, Steven, and Stan, all of Wichita; a daughter, Jill, of Wichita; a brother Robert of Wichita; two sisters, Jackie Smitherman of Loveland, Colo., and Lois Mainz of Goddard.
Mother Died Sunday At 82
Daisy F. Carroll, 82, Arkansas City, mother of Augustan Jeff Carroll, died Sunday at the Arkansas City Memorial Hospital.
Her service was at 2 p.m. today at the Rindt- Erdman-Oldroyd Funeral Home there. Rev. Richard B. Bowersox officiated and burial was in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
She was born June 20, 1900 in
the Indian Territory near Chandler, Okla., to Pete and Lillie Stinnette Schwantes.
She married Jeff Brown Car-roll in 1928 in Guthrie, Okla. He preceded her in death in 1934.
She was a retired sales clerk for the J.C. Penney store in Arkanasas City. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
Other survivors include a son, William Carroll of Arkansas City; a daughter, Charlotte Hunter of Thomas, Okla.; a sister, Cora Rickard of Stillwater, Okla.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
G.M. Bisagno Dies At 81
Gladys Marie Bisagno, 81, El Dorado, died yesterday at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.
Her service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado. Kenneth Barry will officiate and burial will be in the Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the Church of Christ in El Dorado.
She was born Jan. 17, 1901 in Carrolton, Mo., to John and Deller Wagaman Zang.
She married Paul A. Bisagno Nov. 23, 1924 in El Dorado. He preceded her in death Feb. 28, 1981.
She was a member of the Church of Christ and the Harmony Neighborhood Club.
Survivors include two brothers, Lloyd Zang of El Dorado and Roscoe Zang of Kansas City, Mo.

Sarah Turner Dies At AMCI
Sarah LuVadah Raulston Turner, 92, died this morning, Dec. 17 at Augusta Medical Complex.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 20, at the Dunsford Chapel. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born Aug. 22, 1890, in Rhea County, Tenn., the daughter of Poindexter and Nancy Shirley Elizabeth Raulston.
She married Walter Kelsay Feb. 22, 1910. He died in 1913. On March 6, 1915 she married Marvin Rush Turner. He preceded her in death in 1940.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Jack Turner; a daughter, Enid Drouillard, both of Augusta; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Three sons, Willard Turner, Thaddeus Kelsay and Benny Kelsay and one daughter Freda Pursley preceded her in death. Before she died, there were five generations living.
She was affiliated with the Mormon church.
