Tom E. Hummel
Tom E. Hummel, 42, of Augusta died Sunday, Oct. 5, 1997, at Via-Christi St. francis Medical Center in Wichita.
His memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct.
8, at Hillside Christian Church in Wichita and at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado. Burial will follow in Walnut Valley Memorial Park, El Dorado.
Hummel was born Dec. 10, 1954, in El Dorado. He lived most of his life in Butler County and was a sheet metal worker at Boeing Wichita for the past 11 years. He was also a member of Hillside Christian Church in Wichita.
Survivors are son, Roy Allen Hummel of Atoka, Okla.; parents, Roy and Betty Hummel of Fall River; twin brother, Tim E. Hummel of Houston, Texas; sister, Kathy J. Lukowitsch of Wichita; step-brother, Christopher W. Hummel of Kingman; step-sister, Gaile Lane of Wichita; half-sister, Sharon Meade of Bay City, Texas and grandmother, Laura Needham of El Dorado.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
A memorial has been established with the National Foundation of Diseases Center in Great Neck, N.Y. Contributions may be sent through Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado.
