Alice White
Former Augusta resident Alice Young White, 86, Evergreen, Colo., died Sept. 4, 1997 at the Life Care Center in Evergreen.
Her funeral arrangements will be made through the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
She was born July 4, 1911 in Glasco and worked as a bookkeeper-office manager.
In 1947, she married Waitman Edward White in Winfield. He died in 1994.
Mrs. White was a member of Eastern Star and included reading, dancing, singing, and playing cards among her hobbies and interests.
Survivors include daughter Patricia Ain Parrish of Evergreen; a sister, Agnus White of Little Rock, Ark., and stepmother, Ann Wood of Winfield. There are two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She also leaves two nephews in this community, Leonard and David Hudson.
