Father Dies In Wellington
Percy A. Long, 81, Wellington, father of Virginia Winzer of rural Augusta, died Wednesday at St. Luke’s Hospital there. His service was at 10 a.m. today at the South Haven Christian Church. Rev. Bob Hellstern officiated and burial was at the Rose Hill Cemetery in South Haven.
He was born May 7, 1901 in Meriden to John A. and Della Johnson Long.
He married Eleanor McGinnis May 9, 1923 in Tulsa, Okla. She survives.
The retired brick layer also leaves a son, Larry Irsik of South Haven; other daughters, Margie Hawkins of Tucson, Ariz., and Roselyn Gillmore of Wichita; a sister, Nellie Brunn of Peoria, Ill.; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A son, Donald Long, died in 1970.

Services Held For Olga Wilson
Olga Wilson, 89, a resident of the Augusta Medical Complex Intermediate Care Facility, died there Dec. 16. Memorial services were Dec. 18 at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Halstead. Intombment was at Fairlawn Mausoleum in Hutchinson.
Survivors include an aunt, Joyce Brandt, and a sister-in-law, Vivian Wilson, both of Augusta.

Ella Agee Dies At 61
Ella F. Agee, 61, 723 State, died Friday at St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.
Her service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Resthaven Mortuary. Pastor Dennis Tracy will officiate and burial will be in the Resthaven Garden of Memory in Wichita.
She was born March 23, 1921 in Tishomingo, Okla., to Edom and Mollie Fair Lovette.
She married Judson Agee July 20, 1941 in Marlow, Okla. He survives.
The homemaker leaves also leaves sons, Dale Agee of Dodge City, Wesley Agee of Sedgwick, Ronald Agee of Wichita; brothers, Dale Lovette of Springdale, Ark., Allen Lovette of Houston, Texas; sisters, Ina Cox of Rogers, Ark., Nell Harkleroad of Santa Fe, N.M., Louise Eustace of Wakefield, Frankie Parks of Tulsa, Okla.; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Lela Slead Dies At 82
Lela Mina Slead, 82, Augusta, died Sunday in Whitewater. There will be no services.
She was born Sept. 26, 1900 in Arkansas to Arthur Newton and Alice Kathrene Gobble Donegan.
She married John Jessie Slead Aug. 15, 1924 in Pawhuska, Okla. He preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Christ, L.E.A.P. and Rebekah.
Survivors include brothers, Elmer Donegan of Augusta, Newton Donegan of Winfield and Jake Davis of Wienert, Texas; a sister, Mary Dorsey of Tucson, Ariz., and a granddaughter, Joy Pressnell of Augusta.

Father Dies In Haysville
Roscoe F. “Todd” Coats, 64, Wichita, father of Sandra Brown of Augusta, died Friday in Haysville.
His service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Dunsford Funeral Home here. Father David Cushing of St. James Catholic Church will officiate and burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born March 17, 1918 in Westfield, Ill., to Ralph R. and Barbara Ellen Finkler Coats.
He married Lenore Meridith Dec. 28, 1946 in Douglass. She survives.
He was a retired federal civil service employee and was a McConnell Air Force Base personnel management specialist.
He served in the military during World War II and was a prisoner of war 3 1/2 years.
He was a member of the D.A.V. and the American Ex P.O.W.s.
Other survivors include a sister, Louise Darter of Douglass, and three grandchildren, Vic, Becca and Todd Brown.

Infant Twins Died Friday
Jacob Walter Witson and Julie Anatonia Witson, infant children of Randall and Diana Whisler Witson of Benton, died Friday at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Joint graveside services were at 10 a.m. today at the Union Cemetery in Benton. Rev. Dale Sneeringer officiated.
Besides the parents, other survivors are a brother, Joshua Witson of the home; grandparents, Walter and Katherine Witson, Warren and Claudine Henrie, all of Benton; great-grandparents, Elva Hopper of Augusta, and Edna Eastin, Charles and Nellie Whisler, all of El Dorado, and Gladys Widick of Benton.
Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado was in charge of arrangements.
