Iva Mabel Chase

Iva Mabel Chase, 87, of Augusta, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 1997.
Her memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, at First United Methodist Church of Augusta with Rev. Vern Bowers officiating. Burial will follow in Abilene after cremation.
Iva Mabel McClintick was born July 27, 1910, in Cambridge, Neb., to Walter and Edythe (Lackey) McClintick.
She married Doster L. Chase May 1, 1948, in Abilene. He preceded her in death in 1961.
She was a telephone company employee before her retirement and a member of First United Methodist Church of Augusta.
Survivors are daughter, Jeanne McDaniel of Augusta; brother Jay Dean McClintick of Billings, Mont.; grandchildren Carla Reida of Garden Plain, Lisa Veith of Andover and Robert McDaniel of Park City and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Hospice Inc. Contributions may be sent through Dunsford Funeral Home.

Mickey McGlocklin

Mickey Earl McGlocklin, 59, died Friday, Dec. 19, 1997 in Augusta at his home.
His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 1997 at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery of rural Augusta.
He was an employee for Step Saver convenience stores.
He was born Nov. 11, 1941 at Milburn, Okla, to Earl A. and Bess (Compton) McGlocklin.
McGlocklin lived most of his life in Russell and was a graduate of Fort Hays State University with a degree in business administration. He spent his youth working in the food service industry.
He moved to Augusta in 1985 and was a member of the Augusta Lions Club. He had been very active in the Russell Lions Club before coming to Augusta.
McGlocklin held several offices with Lions including club president, district governor, and secretary-treasurer.
Survivors include his mother, Bess P. McGlocklin; brother, Michael of Russell; sisters Jody Warren and Terry McGlocklin, both of Augusta.
Memorial have been established with the Lions Club sight and band foundations. Contributions can be made through the funeral home.

Jane Fennell

Jane Fennell, 76, of Augusta, died Friday, Jan. 2, 1998.
Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 1998, at Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta. Visitation will be held until 8 o’clock this evening.
Rev. Keith Dudeck will officiate the service, and burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born June 28, 1921 in Augusta to Harold Theodore and Martha (Wright) Guest.
She married Charles Fennell in Wichita on July 27, 1942. He preceded her in death.
She was a retired bookkeeper for Lunger’s Furniture.
She was a member of the Eastern Star and the First United Methodist Church of Augusta.
She leaves son, Chuck of Wichita; daughters, Marty Fennell, Charla Zerbe, both of Augusta, Dana Perez of Seminole, Texas, Dona Dennett of Kansas City, Mo.; brothers, Bill Guest of Wichita, Jack Guest of Hastings,Minn.; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
Memorials have been made to Augusta Public Library and Augusta United Methodist Church Library.
Dunsford Funeral Home Augusta is in charge of the arrangements.

Pearl Ina Busch

Pearl Ina Busch, 89, Augusta, died Friday, Jan. 2, 1998.
Her service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Lutheran Church.
She was a homemaker. Survivors includes daughters, Margaret Brunson and Marilyn Seymour, both of Augusta;
brothers, Carl Braddy of Wichita Robert Braddy of Mulvane, six grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren.
Memorial has been established with Christ Lutheran
Church.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of the
arrangements.

Rennie M. Evans

Rennie M. Evans, 45, of Augusta, died Tuesday, Dec. 30,1997.
Her funeral service was at 4 p.m. today, Jan. 2, 1998 at Jack-son Mortuary in Wichita.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include son, Steven of Wichita; daughter, Brenda of Normangee, Texas; brother, William of Normangee; sisters, Eva Mae Jones of Dallas, Fel-isha Evans of Normangee, Gynell Evans of Teague, Texas; five grandchildren.
