Leila B. Secrist
Leila Burris Secrist, Ellinwood, died Saturday, July 25, 1998 at the Woodhaven Care Center in Ellinwood.
Her graveside service will begin at 4 p.m. Friday, July 31, in Elmwood Cemetery here. Rev. Harald Wisegarver will officiate.
The Bryant-Christians Funeral Home of Great Bend is in charge of arrangements.
She was a retired teacher and a member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ at Ellinwood.
On July 29, 1938, she married Kenneth Secrist in a ceremony in Augusta.
Mrs. Secrist won several awards as an artist.
Memorials to the Immanuel United Church of Christ have been suggested.
