Bobby Cowan
Bobby Gene Cowan, 71, Beech Aircraft Tool Designer, retired, died Friday, Sept. 11, 1998.
His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at the Hillside Funeral Home. Interment is in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
He was born to John Lester Cowan and Flora Lee Cowan Jan. 5, 1927 in El Dorado, Ark..
He was married to Edna “Mickey” Frame March 7, 1948 in Pratt.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include: wife Edna; daughters Sandy Lynn of Wichita, Robin J. Miller of Douglass; sister Wanda Tritt of Moriorty, N.M.; three grandchildren; 1 step-grandchild; 1 great-grandchild; and five step-great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Douglass Volunteer Fire Department.
