Juanita Berger
Juanita “Gerry” Berger, 67, retired legal secretary, died Monday, Sept. 14, 1998.
Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta. Burial will be in the Andover Cemetery.
Mrs. Berger was born May 20, 1931 in Oregon, Mo. to Gerald Goucher and Ella Goucher Blythe.
She married Charles E. Berger in 1954. He preceeded her in death in 1989.
She was a member of the Legal Secretaries Association and of St. John’s Episcopol Church in Wichita.
Survivors include: sons Carey of Lawrence and Jonathan: daughter Shari G. Storm of Rosalia; brothers Don Goucher of Pahrump, Nev.; Lynn Goucher of El Dorado: step-brothers Larry Blythe of Augusta, Joe Blythe of Denver, Jerry Blythe of Calif.; sisters Lois Chance and Roberta Alfaro, both of Augusta, Kay Hill of Home City, Ks.; stepsister Glenda Hickum of Okla.; stepfather George Blythe of Augusta; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her daughter, Cindy Dorsey, and her granddaughter, Tami Dorsey.
Memorial has been established with the Augusta Senior Center, 640 Osage.
