Lola B. Chappell

Lola Bell (Arnold) Chappell, 86, of Augusta died Monday, May'l7, 1999 at Via Christi St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita.
Her funeral service will be 1:30 p.m Thursday, May 20, 1999, at the First United Methodist Church, 2420 N. Ohio. Rev. Vern Bowers, church pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born June 28, 1912 in Mulvane to George Arnold and Anna Nachbor.
She and George Chappell were united in marriage May 24, 1930 in Augusta. He survives.
In addition to her husband, this homemaker leaves a daughters, Betty McClelland of Plainville and Barbara Ehret of Augusta; sisters, Esther Blake of Augusta, Dorothy Lankford of Wichita and Jean Wood of Gillette, Wyo.; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and . 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial has been established with the American Heart Association, Sedgwick County Division, 2100 East Douglas, Wichita, KS 67214.
Outreach Church in Augusta.
Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta is in charge of arrangements.


Debra A. Lewis

Debra Ann Lewis, 41, of Augusta, died Monday, May 31, 1999 in a vehicle accident near CedarvVale. Also killed were her mother, Gerald Dean Lee, her son, Ty Alexander Lewis and her daughter, Rebecca Pauline Lewis.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 1999 at the Ford-Wulf-Bruns Edgewood Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in the Fairview Cemetery, both in Coffeyville. Friends may call today until 9 p.m. and Saturday until service time, at the funeral home.
She was born Nov. 17, 1957 in Wichita to Raymond Eugene and Gerald Dean (Pearce) Lee.
She graduated from the Texas-line High School in Texas and was an LPN, after training in Wichita. She also worked as an optician and in a defense plant in Wichita.
Mrs. Lewis was currently in training to become a medical tran-scriptionist. She was active in the Ministry of Jesus World Outreach Church in Augusta.
She is survived by: brothers, Raymond Eugene Lee Jr., of Amarillo, Texas., Richard Earl Lee of Texasas, and Rodney Elmer Lee of Tuttle, Okla.; sisters, Radina Marie Short of Coweta, Okla, and Tenna Rania Hopkins of Amarillo, Texasas

Ty A. Lewis, Rebecca Lewis

Ty Alexander Lewis, 15, and his sister, 11-year-old Rebecca Pauline Lewis, both of Augusta, died Monday, May 31, 1999, in a traffic accident.

Ty was born Oct. 29, 1983 in Wichita, to Richard Paul and Debra Ann (Lee) Lewis.
Rebecca was born Sep. 17, 1988 in El Dorado.
Ty had just completed his freshman year at Augusta High School. He was a member of the Orioles High School baseball team and Ministry of Jesus World Outreach Church in Augusta.
Rebecca just completed fifth grade at Ewalt Elementary School in Augusta. She loved all animals, and collected horse figurines and Beanie Babies.
Both are survived by: father, Richard Paul Lewis of Arkansas City; paternal grandfather Alvin Perkins of rural Augusta; and paternal great-grandmother Wilda Christopher of Augusta.

Caitlin Black

Caitlin Cheyenne Black, infant daughter of Cynthia Viz-carra and Shawn Black, granddaughter of Bill and Linda Bates of Augusta, died Saturday, May 15, 1999.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 1999 in Florence with Reverend Blake Orr officiating.
She was born May 15, 1999. She is also survived by a brother, Julio and sister, Desiree.

Gerald D. Lee

Gerald Dean Lee, 61, of Coweta, Okla., formerly of Augusta, died Monday, May 31, 1999 in a two-vehicle head-on collision between a van and truck on Hwy 166, one mile east of Cedarvale.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, 1999 at the Ford-Wulf-Bruns Edgewood Chapel in Coffeyville. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville. Friends may call today until 9 p.m. and Saturday until service time, at the funeral home.
Gerald Dean Lee was born March 17,1938 in Loco, Okla, to Henry and Mary (Roebuck) Pearce. On Nov. 10, 1956, she married Raymond Eugene Lee Sr., in Augusta. Mr. Lee was an independent truck driver. He died Jan. 15, 1995 and is buried in Coffeyville.
Mrs. Lee was a member of the Nazarene Church in Augusta. She is survived by: sons, Raymond Eugene Lee Jr., of Amarillo, Texas., Richard Earl Lee of Texasas, and Rodney Elmer Lee of Tuttle, Okla.; daughters, Radina Marie Short of Coweta, Okla., and Tenna Rania Hopkins of Amarillo, Texas.; brother, William Pearce of Coweta, Okla.; sisters, LaNell McCuistion of Garland, Texasas, and Edith Delaney of Kansas City, Mo.; 10 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
The family would welcome memorials to the Ministry of Jesus Outreach Church in Augusta.
