Fannie N. Parks
Fannie Naomi Parks, 87, of Augusta died Wednesday, July 14, 1999 at Augusta Medical Complex. She was the retired owner of Parks Automobile Co.
Visitation is until 8 tonight at Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta. Chapel.
Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 16, 1999 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Robert Box officiating. Viola Bagby will be the organist and Virginia Scholfield will sing “How Great Though Art” and “It Is Well With My Soul.”
Casketbearers are: Mike Cau-thron; Kent Martin; Eddie Joe Cau-thron; Ron Pressnell; Brett Couvil-lion; and Tommy Mills.
Private family entombment will be at Old Mission Mausoleum in Wichita.
She was born Nov. 5, 1911 at Booneville, Ark., to Ellis Winfield Cauthron and Terry Foster.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Bud, Jake, and Wayne Cauthron.
She is survived by: brothers, Doug Cauthron of Augusta and Bill Cauthron of Booneville, Ark.; sisters, Merle Partain of Granada Hills, Calif., Lois Fisher of Ft. Smith, Ark., and Helen Couvillion of Ft. Smith, Ark.; several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Augusta First Baptist Church Building Fund.
The Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Frankie M. Foster, 66, of Augusta, died Tuesday, July 13,1999.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 16, 1999 at Central Christian Church.
She was a real estate agent with J. P. Weigand.
She is survived by: spouse, Marion O. Foster; son, Marion B. Foster of Augusta; daughter, Ginger Becker of Durham; sisters, Betty Low of Mulvane, Dorothy Wilmoth of Gardner and Shirley Lamer of Gypsum; and five grandchildren.
Memorial has been established with Central Christian Church New Worship Center, 2900 N. Rock Road, Wichita, KS 67226.
Downing & Lahey Mortuary East of Wichita is in charge of arrangements.
Max Marshall
Max Marshall, 80, longtime Augusta resident, died Wednesday, June 23, 1999 at the Satanta District Hospital in Satanta.
Friends may call at the Dunsford Funeral Home on Friday, June 25, 1999 from 7 to 8 p.m.
His funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 1999 at the Dunsford Chapel with Fthr. Samuel Pinkerton presiding. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 18, 1918 in Vesper, the son of William R. and Birdie (Mayberry) Marshall.
On June 20, 1942, he married Catherine Gorges, who preceded him in death on May 4, 1998. After his wife’s death, he moved from Augusta, to the Western Prarie Care Home in Ulysses. The week before his death, he moved into the Satanta Long Term Care Unit in Satanta.
Mr. Marshall served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was an Underwriter for Travelers Insurance of Wichita for many years.
Before entering the insurance business in July of 1947. he was
employed by a bank in Augusta. He was an avid golfer and he
also enjoyed fishing.
He was a member of M. James Catholic Church, American Legion, Elks Lodge, Lions Club, all of Augusta, and the Augusta Country Club.
He is survived by: sons, Jim Marshall of San Francisco, Calif and Gary Marshall and his wife, Judy, of Sublette; and five grandchildren.
A memorial has been estab-lished for the Satanta Long Term Care Unit and may be sent in care of Haskell County Funeral Home, Box 607, Sublette, KS 67877.
Haskell County Funeral Home in Sublette is in charge of
arrangements.
