Edna Capshaw
Edna Catherine Capshaw, 80, of Augusta, died Monday, June 21, 1999.
Visitation will be until 8 p.m. this evening at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
Her funeral will be Friday, June 25, 1999 at Dunsford Chapel, with the Rev. Keith Dudeck of - First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Goddard.
She was born Feb. 25, 1919 in Garden Plains to Jesse Stroud and Margaret Schauf.
On May 16, 1937, she married Clyde G. Capshaw, who preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 1980.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, one sister and two grandsons.
She was a homemaker, and was affiliated with the Methodist Church.
She is survived by: daughter, Darlene Dobbins of Lowell, Ohio; brother, Clyde Stroud of Thornton, Colo.; sister, Irene Banker of Augusta; grandchildren, Tamra Fox, Yvonne Fox and Vicky Dobbins; five greatgrandchildren; three great-greatgrandchildren; four step-greatgrandchildren; and three step-great-great-grandchildren.

Sara Kathryn Copeland, 86, of Wichita and formerly of Augusta, died Saturday, July 10,1999 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Visitation will be until 8 p.m. this evening at Dunsford Funeral Home chapel here.
Her funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, 1999 the Dunsford chapel with Rev Don Scott off icai ting. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
she was born March 17, 1913 in Roswell, N.M., to James Quincy Hunter and Margaret Maud Naugle.
She married Gilbert Ray Copeland on Dec. 24, 1937 in Wichita. He preceded her in death in 1972, in Augusta.
She was a beautician for a while, was an aircraft worker during the war, then answered the phone for her husband at Copeland Acid.
She is survived by: daughters, Margerita “Geta” Lager of Augusta, Sherry Brown and Linn Copeland, both of Wichita; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild./-,/;^ - ff
John T. Weaver
John Thomas Weaver, 49, of Augusta, died Tuesday, June 29, 1999 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Rosary will be Thursday, July 1, 1999 at 7 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church.
His funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 2 at St.
James, with Fthr. Samuel Pinkerton officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Augusta.
He was born Sep. 4, 1949 in Augusta to Ted Weaver and Josephine Lovell.
He married Debra Berndsen on May 2, 1970 in Augusta. He was a construction superintendent for Dondlinger & Sons.
He is survived by: his wife, Debra Weaver of the home; mother, Josephine Weaver of Augusta; sons, Joseph, Joshua and Jacob, all of the home, and John of Andover; daughters, Catherine, Clare and Madeline of the home, Leah Conner and husband Brad of Kansas City,
Emily Irvine and husband Bernard of Manhatten; brothers, Tad of Montana, Dan of Topeka and Jim of Augusta; sisters, Jane Griffith and Connie Weaver, both of Wichita; and four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Catholic Welfare Association in care of St. James Catholic Church.
