Charles Bryan

Charles Bryan of Augusta, died Sept. 6, 1999 after a long illness.
There will be no service he will be cremated.
He was born to O.I. and Gladys Bryan in Augusta and lived in Hominy and Tulsa, Okla., for many years before moving back to Augusta and working at Beechcraft and retiring from there.
He is survived by; daughter Lisa DeWitt, of Hominy, Okla., sons Russ Bryan of Atlanta, Ga., Mitch Bryan, of Buckly, Wash., sister Harriet Elliot, of Augusta, brother Bob Bryan, of Bellingham, Wash., two grandsons of Okla, and a granddaughter of Ga.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother ‘Kech’ Bryan.
Memorials may be made sent to Hospice.
of, Longmont, Colo., and 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was born Nov, 30, 1910, in Garden Plain to Magaret and Jess Stroud.
She married Jess C. Bradley in 1930, who died in 1973. She married Eldon Banker in 1977, who preceded her in death in 1998. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
She was a retired dispatcher for the Augusta Police Dept, and was an assembler at Cessna. She was active in many Augusta organizations; a past Matron of Chapter 211, Order o f the Eastern Star, past Noble Grand of the Rebekah Lodge 350, Augusta Justice 32, Ladies Auxiliary Patriarchs Militant, Ladies Encampment Auxiliary 23 and several other organizations.
A memorial has been established in her name with the Kansas Rebekah Vision Committee 350. Send in care of Dorothy Kirkpatrick at 1515 Clubhouse Dr. Augusta, 67010.

Carrie Holderman

Carrie Violet Holdeman, 85, of Augusta died Sept. 9,1999. Visitation will be Monday
Sept. 13, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Dunsford Chapel in Augusta. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Augusta, with Rev. Tom Davis officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Whittier, Calif.
She was born Feb. 2, 1914 to Harry and Iva Wilson in Wichita.
She married Sylvester Holdeman in 1930 and was a retired cook and homemaker.
Mrs. Holderman leaves a son Harry Holdeman, of Tonkawa, Okla., daughters Joyce Wood, of Apple Valley, Calif., Rosa Lee Rittle of Augusta, sisters Mrytic Abrue, of Enid, Okla., Mildred Smith, of Seattle, Wash., Imo-gene Hacker, of Malakoff, Texas, Bessie West, of Enid, Okla. 14 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by; husband Sylvester, daughter Pattie Malcom, brother Lester Wilson, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Irene G. Baker

Irene G. Banker, 88, of Augusta, died Thursday, Sept. 9,1999.
Visitation will be at the Dunsford Chapel in Augusta from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 12. Services will be there at 2 p.m. Mon-, day, Sept.
13. Burial
will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
She is survived by; son Bradley, of Oklahoma City, Okla., daughters Lou Nelson, of Slidell, La., Joyce Fischer, of Jenks, Okla., Pat Eschelman, and Diane Bradley, both of Augusta, brother Clyde Stroud
