She also was a member of the Augusta Round Table Club.
Mrs. Harms leaves two sons and daughters-in-law, Duane Eugene and Carol Harms of St. Paul, Minn., Allan Richard and Carolyn Harms of Derby; daughter and son-in-law Joan Elaine and Bill Dotson of Lake St. Louis, Mo; brothers, Jacob John Enz of Elkart, Ind., and Arthur Henry Enz of Newton; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials to the First Baptist Church and Gideons International have been suggested.
The Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Amy Renee Carey, 22, of El Dorado died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1999 at St. Francis Hospital (MICU) in Wichita.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, 1999 at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta. Interment will be at Elmwood ' Cemetery.
She was born July 11, 1977 in Wichita to Bruce Larsen and Belinda Palmer.
In 1997, she married Sean Carey at her grandparents home in Towanda.
She was a para-professional at El Dorado High School.
She is survived by: husband, Sean Carey of El Dorado; brother, Nick Harder of Beebe, Ark.; step-brother, Travis Larsen of Topeka; half-brother, Carl Harder of Beebe, Ark.; parents, Bruce Larsen of Wichita and Belinda Larsen of El Dorado; grandparents, Larry and JoAnn Palmer of Towanda; Clyde and Lois Larsen of Garnett; Ernie and Dorothy Harder of Wichita; and William Carey of Florida.
Memorials may be made to El Dorado High School Special Education Department.
Gertrude Harms
Longtime Augusta resident Gertrude Catherine Harms, 83, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 1999 at Garden View Care Center in O’Fallon, Mo.
Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, at the First Baptist Church of Augusta with Dr. Robert Box officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be possible until 8 o’clock his evening at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
She was a retired secretary at First Baptist Church.
She was born Feb. 17, 1916 in Newton as the daughter of Henry Enz and Lydia Toews Enz. Her parents preceded her in death in 1971.
She was a graduate of Newton High School.
On Sept. 25, 1938, she married John V. Harms in a ceremony at Newton. He preceded her in death in 1996.

Paul R. Overbey
Paul Ralph Overbey, 92, of Augusta, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 1999.
His funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, 1999 in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapl in Augusta. Rev. Rick Qualls of Chanute officiating. Interment will be in Wichita Park Cemetery.
He was born June 26, 1907, in Wichita to Thomas and Florence Overbey.
He worked as a foreman at Coleman and was self-employed in a painting, wallpapering and interior design business. He was a member of the Augusta Kiwanis Club.
He is survived by sons Donald, of Garland, Texas, and son Tom, of Douglass, and seven grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Viola.
