Sandra K. Nesler

Sandra Kay Nesler, 47, of Augusta died Monday, Nov. 29, 1999.
Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at Hillside Funeral Home Augusta with Rev. Frank Miller officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today.
She was born March 12, 1952 in Omaha, Neb., to Albert and Virginia Rippee.
She married Dennis Nesler in Newkirk, Okla., on Dec. 12, 1975.
Mrs. Nesler was an administrator at Medicalodge of Eureka.
She is survived by her husband Dennis, sons Curt Yoder of Italy, Jerry Nesler of Point, Texas, daughter Terri Gorges of Augusta, brother Stephen Allen of Augusta, sister Sherry Jones of Augusta, grandmother Lola Rippee of Augusta, and eight grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice Inc.

Anna McHone

Anna Mae McHone, 90, of Augusta died Dec. 6, 1999.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday Dec. 10, at Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta. Burial will be in Union Cemetery north of Benton.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Thur. Dec. 9.
She was born Nov. 15, 1909 in Wood County, Okla., to Charles and Linnie McHone.
She was retired from Cudahy Meat Packing and Boeing Aircraft and a member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by nephew Hugh McHone of Augusta, nieces Doris Bowers of Cleburne, Texas and Betty Bonner of Yuba City, Calf.
A memorial has been established with the Augusta First Baptist-Church.

Opal K. Doyle

Opal Katherine (Semisch) Doyle, 96, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999 at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
She was born June 22, 1903 at Keighley to Carl Edward and Edith Maria Corneil Semisch.
She and John Joseph Doyle were married March 4, 1933, in Wichita.
Mrs. Doyle taught school in the Butler County Schools in and around Leon and Keichley.
She is survived by a niece, Mavis Dennet and family of Colorado; great niece Carmen Ontiveros of Salt Lake City, Utah, nephew John Prigmore of El Dorado, cousin Wendel Corniel of Augusta and other cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters a niece and a grand nephew.
Services will be held graveside in Brownlow Cemetery, south and east of El Dorado on Thursday, at 10:30 a.m.
Mrs. Doyle can be seen at Hillside Funeral home in Augusta from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
A memorial has been established in Opal Doyle’s name for the outreach program at Bradford Memorial Library in El Dorado.

Laura Parker

Laura G. Parker, 93, of Eureka died Friday, Dec. 3.
Funeral service will be held at
2 p.m. Wednesday at Hillside Funeral home in Augusta with Rev. C.R. Macchi officiating.
Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery of Augusta.
She was born June 8, 1906 in Rock to Walter and Emma Holmes.
She married Everett Parker who preceded her in death, on Nov. 23, 1923.
She is survived by son Jack Parker of Santa Anna, Calif., daughter Twila Foye of El Cajon, Calif, seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and
3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by
her husband, a daughter, two brothers, four sisters and one grandson.

Helen L. Porter

Helen Lucille Porter, 86, of Mesa Ariz., former resident of Augusta and aunt of Evelyn Richarson of Augusta, died Nov. 26, in Mesa.
Burial was in Mesa.
She was born to Randolph and Martha Suits in 1913.
She married Rhease Porter in 1931.
She was a homemaker and during World War II worked as riveter at Beech Aircraft. She and her husband moved to Mesa after his retirement from Mobil Oil and were members of the Central Christian Church there.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Other survivors are niece Joan Ireland of Andover; nephew Lloyd Ludlum of Colorado Springs, Colo., and friends John and Debbie Harper of Mesa.
