Margaret Noeller

Margaret Noeller, 69, Augusta, died Sunday Jan. 16, 2000, at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Her funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, at the Hillside Funeral Home, Augusta Chapel. Rev. Howard Friesen will officiate and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born Jan. 6, 1931 in El Dorado as the daughter of Charlie T. and Daisy Margaret Davis Palmer.
She married William Clarence Noeller who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Noeller was retired from her position as cook at the 54 Lunch & Haverhill Corner.
She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Turner of Douglass, Marvin Turner of El Dorado, and Gary Turner of Mississippi; daughter Jacque Folda, Augusta; step-daughters Betty Mullin of Holton, Marie Gills of Garden City, Ga., Christine Copeland of Georgia, Louise Poguoson and Gail Dinkard, both of Virginia; sister, Mary Stevens of Beaumont, Texas; 11 grandchildren, and 21 greatgrandchildren. She also leaves a special friend, Victor
Memorial has been established with Medicalodge of Douglass, 619 South. Hwy 77, Douglass, KS, 67039 and Arthritis Foundation, 1602 E. Waterman, Wichita, KS, 67211.
Hillside Funeral Home Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Ellen V. Williams

Ellen V. Williams, 84, Augusta, died Sunday, Jan 16, 2000, at the AMCI Long Term Care.
Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1400 E. Kellogg, Wichita, with Vern Haller, associate pastor officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita.
She was born March 7, 1915, as the daughter of John E. and Ollie Lea Moore.
On July 7, 1934, she was married to Amos Williams in Elk City, Okla. He survives her and continues to live at home.
Mrs.Williams was the retired co-pastor of Nazarene Congregations.
She is survived by three sons: Amos, Jr., Kansas City, Mo.,
Danie Williams of Seminole, Okla., and Davi Williams of Roseville, Calif,
She is also survived by sisters Evelyn Lea, Borger, Texas; Loraine Groff, Hills, Texas; Violet Donoho, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Johnnie Fogo, Phelan, Ca.
In addition, she leaves behind seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Hillside Funeral Home Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Alan B. Smith

Alan Brooks Smith, 80, former resident of Augusta, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at the VA Hospital, Wichita.
His funeral service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 3, at Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta. Rev. Clyde Stockton, Victory Worship Center, will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at Dunsford’s.
He was born May 3, 1919, in Augusta as the child of Nacy Smith and Nellie M. Fenton.
He was married to Elpedia Naples, his wife of the home. She survives.
A retired military veteran, his service career spanned both Army and Air Force.
Mr. Smith also leaves behind him three daughters, Mary Sha-effer and Sybil Strum, both of Wichita, and Nellie Linderholm of Augusta; two stepsons, Arnold Germita of Wichita, and Fred Germita of the Phillip-pines; two stepdaughters, Norma Delos Santos and Vicky Schenk, both of Wichita, and one sister, Eunice Knowles of Augusta; 17 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.
