Henry Brunson

Henry E. “Bud” Brunson, 70, Augusta, died Friday, June 16, 2000.
His funeral service was today, June 19, at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
He was a branch manager for McDnald Aircraft before his retirement in 1987.
He leaves a wife, Margaret Brunson; sons, Eric Brunson of Columbia, Mo.; daughters, Marcia Newby of Phoenix, Ariz. and Linda Brunson of Baltimore, Md.; sisters, Montie Rosenrantz of Lawrence and Pat Seward of Arkansas City; brothers, Joe Brunson of Augusta and Leanard Brunson of Hartford, Iowa; grandchildren, Bradley and Nancy Newby.
Memorials to Christ Lutheran Church and/or Hospice Inc. have been suggested.
The Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta was in charge of arrangements.

Mildred Hladik

Mildred O. Hladik, 93, Augusta, died Friday, June 30, 2000.
Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. July 3, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Wichita.
She is survived by her sons, Leroy of Wichita, Marvin of Towanda; daughters, Gladys Huff of Watson, Okla., Joyce Engels of Wichita, Shirley Malone of Andover; brother, Alfred Schnoor of Wichita; sister, Lois Sparks of Joplin, Mo.; 27 grandchildren; 55 greatgrandchildren; 21 great-greatgrandchildren.
Memorials have been suggested to the Lakepoint Nursing Center.
Lakeview Funeral Home of Wichita is in charge of arrangements.

‘Bob’ Ellis

George Robert “Bob” Ellis, Augusta, died Friday, June 23, 2000, at Via Christi-St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Wichita.
His funeral service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 28, at the Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel in Wichita. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
In addition to his wife, Darlene, he leaves a stepson, Jerry Johnson, a daughter, Chris Bryan, both of Augusta; two stepdaughters, Sharon Williams and Michelle Haskins, both of Wichita; two brothers, John of Maryville, Mo. and Russell of Independence, Mo., and a sister, Darlene Farnan, Kansas City, Mo.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Former Augusta resident Catherine Hill, 86, Blue Springs, Mo., died Saturday, June 3, 2000.
Her graveside service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, at the Leanna Cemetery at Chanute.
She leaves a daughter, a brother, three grandsons, and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials to the First Christian Church at Buckner, Mo., have been suggested.
The Speakls Memorial Chapel at Buckner is in charge of arrangements.
Lillian Murphy
Homemaker Lillian Murphy, 86, Augusta, died Monday, Aug. 7, 2000.
Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, at the Hillside Funeral Home Augusta Chapel.
She leaves a daughter, Karen Lund of St. Louis, Mo., and three grandchildren.

Daryl Kirkpatrick

Daryl Edward Kirkpatrick, 51, Parkville, Mo., formerly of Augusta, died June 4, 2000.
His funeral service was June 8 at Heritage Funeral Home, Parkville, Mo. Burial was at Platte City Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughter, Cherry Kay Cantwell of Derby; son, Kevin Kirkpatrick of the home; stepdaughter, Tammy Hall of Kansas City; stepsons, Greg Eggers of Farley, Mo., Jake and Aaron Martinez of Parkville, Mo.; mother and stepfather, Dorothy and Robert Johnston of Kansas City, Mo.; father, Donald Kirkpatrick of Augusta; sisters, Karyl Johnson and Donna Falley, both of Augusta, Dee Regina of Weston, Mo.; stepsister, Betty Barriner of Goddard; two brothers, Bill of Weston, Mo.; and Mark of Augusta; nine grandchildren.
