Ala Lininger
Former Augusta resident Ala Grace (Holcomb) Lininger, 92, Wichita, died Thursday, July 13, 2000.
Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 17, at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
Visitation will be possible at Dunsford’s between 1 and 5 p.m. Sunday, July 1$.
Mrs. Lininger leaves her husband, Leonard, and a son, Jartes Lininger, both of Wichita; three grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-, grandchild.
Memorials to the First United Methodist Church of Augusta have been suggested.
The Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Harold L. Brewer, 71, Augusta, died Sunday, July 16, 2000.
His funeal service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 19, at the Augusta First United Methodist Church.
A graveside service is slated for 3 p.,m. at the Farlington (KS) Cemetery.
This retired sheet metal assembler for Boeing leaves his wife, Loretta, and daughter April Brewer, both of Augusta; brothers, William Brewer or Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Elton Brewer of Pierson, Iowa; sisters, Alma Green of Anthon, Iowa, and Tilley Lucke of Bedford, Texas, and four grandchildren.
Memorials to the American Heart Association have been suggested.

Barbara L. Quigley, 54, Augusta, died on Friday, July 7, 2000, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Her funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, at Dunsford Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight at Dunsford Chapel in Augusta.
Survivors include stepmother Virginia Turner of Leon, three sons, Guy Clarkson of Rose Hill, Gary Clarkson of Vandenburg Air Force Base in Lompoc, Calif., and Robert Quigley of Topeka, daughter Eva Howard of Laurel, Maryland; five grand-
children; three brothers, Norman Turner of Douglass, Frank Turner of Leon, and Dave Turner of Ponca City, Okla.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society are suggested.

He is survived by his four sons, Robert of Augusta, Kenneth of Emporia, Terry of Lebo, and Steven of Gladstone, Mo.; his four daughters, Barbara Daily of Lebo, Judy Bean of Topeka; Davenna Bagley of Chula Vista, Calif., Linda Tucker of Topeka, and Eileen Bible of San Diego, Calif.; two brothers, and Russell of Lebo, and one sister, Ephia Springman of Emporia; 14 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren 11’ greatgrandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Dean Stanhope
H. Dean Stanhope, 58, Augusta, died Friday, July 7, 2000 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
His funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, in the chapel of the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta. Burial will be in Benton Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 26, 1942 in Moline as the son of Hubert Bassett Stanhope and tuba Lois Dorsey Stanhope.
He was a production planner for Raytheon where he worked since 1962.
In addition to his wife, Ella, he leaves a daughter, Karen Harper and spouse Terry of Benton; a son, Bradley Dean Stanhope and spouse Tera of Park City, five grandchildren, Shaylan, Drake, Dax, Amanda, and Kaitlan; three brothers, Larry, Hal, and Mike, both of Benton; three sisters, Donna Good, Pat Stanhope, both of Benton, and Linda of Florida, and his mother, Cuba Stanhope of Benton.
The Dunsford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Funeral services were held today, July 20, for Jack Donald Boyer, 79, Augusta, who died Friday, July 14, 2000.
The funeral was this afternoon at the Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta.
Visitation was possible prior to the 2 p.m. service.
This retired truck driver and Knebler heavy equipment operator, leaves his wife, Edna Boyer and daughter, Janet Boyer. He was preceded in death by a son, Homer Boyer, in 1998.
Memorials to the Augusta Medical Complex are suggested.
