Richard G. Hoge
Richard Gerard Hoge, 42, Augusta, died Wednesday, July 26, 2000.
His funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 28 at Andover Assembly of God.
In addition to his wife, Suzanne, he leaves two sons, Brian, Mattoon, ILL., and Richard III, Augusta; two daughters, Kelly Bartlett, Wichita and Kristy Hoge, Augusta; his parents, Herman and Thelma Hoge, Augusta; three brothers, Gary Hoge, Baxter Springs, Glen Hoge, Woodward, Okla, and Bernard Hoge, Augusta; and three sisters, Patricia Hoge and Sandra Endicotte, Augusta, and Vicki Behrens, Phoenix, Ariz. Memorials to the Andover Assembly of God Children’s Ministry have been suggested.
The Dunsford Funeral home is in charge of arrangemements.

Clara A. Sevier, 75, Augusta, died Friday, June 21, 2000.
Her funeral service was at 11 a.m. today, Monday, July 24 at the First Southern Baptist Church, Augusta.
She is survived by her son, Alton Crafton, Wichita; three daughters, Ann Chamberlin, Boca Raton, Fla., Regina Perry, Miami, Okla., and Daris Blickman, Indianapolis, Ind.; a stepdaughter, Rebecca Rorex, Wichita; a brother, Joe Reno, Warren, Mich.; and a sister, Marina Baxter, Ferndale, Mich.
Memorials to Animal Welfare-Kansas Humane Society have been suggested.
The Dunsford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Margaret Norton
Margaret J. Norton, 87, Augusta, died Friday, July 28, 2000 at Augusta Medical Complex Inc.
Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, at First Christian Church, 1600 State. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Visitation is possible this evening until 8 p.m. at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.The family will also receive friends at the church an hour prior to the service.
She was bom on Jan. 1, 1913 in Kay County, Oklahoma to Ninnis L. and Etta Pearl Jefferies Ealick.
Mrs. Norton moved to Augusta in 1936 and subsequently owned and operated several local restaurants.
During the 1940’s she was employed by Boeing Aircraft.
Over the years she was active in many local groups to include the First Christian Church, Order of Eastern Star and Outlook Club.
She was married to Lonnie I. Norton on Dec. 28, 1968 in Augusta. Her husband, brother Forest J. Ealick, stepson Tom Norton and a stepdaughter Virginia Johnson, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Norton leaves a son and daughter-in-law Jack and Donna Strange of Lawrence, a stepdaughter and son-in-law, Violet and John Crowe of Augusta and several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Memorials to First Christian Church have been suggested.

Certified nurse and daycare provider Linda Sue (Eastridge) Mathes, 45, Augusta, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000.
Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 21, in the chapel of Dunsford Funeral Home pf Augusta.
Visitation will be possible at the funeral home from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
She is survived by her son, Timothy Joe Curtis, Jackson, Mich.; a daughter, Amy Lynnette Curtis, Lake, Mich.; her father, Joe Eastridge, Augusta; three brothers, Michael Eastridge, Benton, Guy Eastridge, Altoona, and Gary Eastridge, Lansing; four sisters, Debbie Newman, Augusta, Laurie Clinesmith, Chanute, Karen Hada, and Jo Bates, Augusta.
Memorials have been suggested to Hospice Incorporated.

Dale R. DeMoss, 74 of Augusta died on Aug. 3, 2000.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30a.m.Monday, Aug, 7, at Hillside Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta.
DeMoss was a retired employee of Cessna Aircraft where he was employed as a tool crib attendant.
DeMoss is survived by a son, Dwight DeMoss of Andover, and two daughters, Darlene Turner of Emporia and Dana Rogers of Augusta. Two brothers, Don DeMoss of Topeka and Darrell DeMoss of Wichita and a sister Bea Stanley of Augusta.
In addition, DeMoss is survived by 13 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Memorials can be sent to Medicalodge of Douglass, 619 S. Hwy 77 in Douglass, 67039.
