Elizabeth Murray

Retired medical records technician Elizabeth A. Murray, 78, Augusta, died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2000, at the Augusta Medical Complex Long-term Care Facility.
Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, at Melby Mortuary in Mankato,. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Mankato,
Visitation will be until 9 p.m. this evening at the Melby Mortuary.
She leaves three daughters, Elaine Thomas, Mankato, Patricia Powell of Colony, Terry Standley of Augusta, ; three sisters, Edna Rush, of Wynoko, Okla., Ethyl Halse, of Marquette, Rev. Eunice Davidson of Miltonvale,; eight grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials to the Melby Mortuary, 402 N. High St., Mankato, Kan. 66956 .

Phillip S. Ball

Retired Mobil Oil mechanical engineer Phillip S. Ball, 89, Augusta, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2000.
His memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4, at the First United Methodist Church, 2420 N.Ohio.
Mr. Ball leaves his wife, Esther of the home, son Michael Ball of Wichita, daughter, Barbara Boettcher of Beloit; sisters, Mella Nuttle of Newton, Helen Carlson of Wichita, and Elizabeth Brown of Lincoln, six grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials to the Augusta Public Library and/or the First United Methodist Church of Augusta have been suggested.
The Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Rosalie M. Hime

Homemaker Rosalie Mildred Hime, 94, Augusta, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2000, at the Lakepoint Nursing Center of Augusta.
Her graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, at Elmwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be possible from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, in the chapel at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
She was born Sept. 1, 1906 in McPherson as the daughter of Marion Howard and Lillie Gertrude (Bishop) Howard.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Victoria Hime, Tulsa, Okla.; sister, Mabel Rathbun, Wichita; one niece; two nephews; eight grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hime was preceded in death by her husband John, daughters Janice Nessler and Dorothy Kirkpatrick, sisters Cecil Witner and Marie Cox, and two grandchildren.
Memorials to the First United Methodist Church of Augusta have been suggested.
The Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Ethel Daley

Ethel L. Daley, 89, Augusta, retired Lockheed Aircraft Co, sheet metal assembler, died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2000.
Her services were pending this morning.
She is survived by her two sons, Ken Locke, Augusta, and David Locke, Calif.; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
The family requests no flowers. Memorials to the First Baptist Church, Augusta, have been suggested.
Hillside Funeral Home Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Zelma F. Still

Retired Augusta area school teacher Zelma Fern (Upchurch) Still, 77, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2000.
Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, in the Dunsford Funeral Home chapel here.
Visitation is possible at the funeral home from 4 until 8 p.m. today.
A second service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava, Mo.
Mrs. Still taught at schools in Augusta, Leon and Haverhill before her retirement.
She leaves a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Gerald Bird of Augusta; brothers, Lowell Upchurch of Augusta, Raymond Upchurch of Mountain Home, Ark., and Rev. Stanley Upchurch of Cedar Vale; sisters, Gina Dolese of Augusta and Wilma Whinery of Wichita, grandson and his wife, Geron and Amy Bird of Lawrence, and grandson Justin Bird of Augusta.
Memorials to the Berean Academy Christian School at Elbing have been suggested by the family.
