Warren Sperling

Warren E. Sperling, 61, retired Augusta Regional Medical Center Long Term Care certified nurse aide of Augusta died Tuesday, March 6, 2001.
His services are pending.
Mr. Sperling is survived by his wife, Judy Kontur-Sperling sons, Jeffrey Kontur of Wilmington, Del., Jerry Kontur of Wichita; daughters, Jennifer Coleman of
Belleville, Ontario, Janice Bazaldua of
Sausalito, Calif.; father and stepmother, Warren and Zandra Sperling of Carlsbad, Calif.; sister, Jeri Fulton of Nev.; grandchildren, Michael Kontur, Dominic Kontur, Ashlie Kontur, Christopher Bazaldua, Sydney Kontur, Bressa Kontur, Gabriel Kontur, Jonathan Ridgley, Jessica Ridgley, Christopher Baxter.
A memorial has been established with Victory in the Valley and Augusta Regional Medical Center, Long Term Care.
Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Maurine LaFevre

Delila Maurine LaFevre, 77, retired Kikers Grocery and Plaza IGA cashier of Augusta, died March 7, 2001.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today, March 9, at Dunsford Funeral Home.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 10, at the First United Methodist Church in Augusta with burial at Cumberland Cemetery.
Ms. LaFevre is survived by granddaughters and a grandson-in-law, Claudia LaFevre of Robinsville, N.J., Melanie and Tom Goike of Houston, Texas; great-grandchildren, Brandon Morgan, Katilyn Goike.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Lucrita (Davis) Kennedy; a son, Richard LaFevre; sister, Norma Thompson.
She was employed by Kikers Grocery for 14 years and Plaza IGA for 18 years without missing a day of work.
Memorials have been established with Augusta Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, American Cancer Society, and the First United Methodist Church.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Paula Mallett

Paula Lou Mallett, 74, retired insurance secretary of Augusta, died Saturday, March 10, 2001.
A graveside service for her will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 16, at the Wichita Park Cemetery in Wichita.
Ms. Mallett is survived by daughters, Lindy Simpson of Leon, Connie Minton, of Andover, Nina Mallett of Austin, Texas; brother, Eugene Jennings of Kettering, Ohio.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.

Roseta Moran

Roseta Moran, 72, of El Dorado, formerly of Augusta, motel manager, died Monday, June 18, 2001.
Her service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 22, at Towanda Cemetery.
Mrs. Moran is survived by husband, Richard; son, Mike Lundberg of Augusta; daughter, Cheryl Willis of Salina; brother, Edgar Cox of Lansing; sister, Grace Mills of Wichita; two grandchildren.

Emily McClintick

Emily Ruth McClintick, 89, homemaker of Augusta, died Saturday, March 10, 2001.
Her service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
Ms. McClintick is survived by her sister, Maxine Wade of Artesia, Calif, and several nephews and nieces.
