Frank L. Smith
Frank Leo Smith, 83, retired truck driver and roughneck of Augusta, died Sunday, April 22, 2001.
His funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 26, and visitation can be made with family from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, both at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Gladys M.; sons, Gary L. of Amarillo, Texas, Larry M. of Miranda, Calif.; daughter, Kathy R. Smith-Meacham of Newton; 12 grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren.
Memorials have been established with Trinity Hospice LLC and Lakepoint Nursing Home.
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.
Floyd A. Blasi
Floyd A. Blasi, 76, former Lion Oil Co. & Monsanto Chemical Co. welding business owner and farmer of Pratt and brother of Alvin Blasi of Augusta, died Friday, May 4, 2001.
Vigil and rosary and mass was held Sunday, May 6, 2001, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Mr. Blasi is survived by wife, Marcella; sons, David, Roger both of Pratt, Bruce of Hutchinson; daughter, Janet Offutt of Beloit; brothers, Alvin of Augusta, Vernon, Franklin, James, Ronald, Paul all of Wichita; sisters, Clarentine Tassett of Pratt, Thelma Schulte, Patricia Mer-ron, Betty Lagaly all of Wichita, Doris Werback of Denver, June Staab of Longmont, Colo., Jean Kelley of Haven, Diane Dye of Colorado Springs; four grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with TECH and South-wind Hospice.
Larrison Mortuary of Pratt is in charge of arrangements.

Carol F. Waugh, 63, homemaker of El Dorado and sister of Edna Peterson of Augusta, died Monday, May 7, 2001.
Her service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 10, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Wichita.
Mrs. Waugh is survived by husband, Dayton; daughters, Edith Waugh of El Dorado, Susan Hunter of Leon; sisters, Olive Davenport of Downs, Opal Baker of Newton, Hazel Nelson of Sacramento, Calif., Mary Rogers of Ukiah, Calif., June Cheek of Sumner, Wash., Edna Peterson of Augusta; one grandchild.
A memorial has been established with Hospice, Inc. Kirby-Morris Funeral Home of El Dorado is in charge of arrangements.

Iris M. (Houser) Ahlerich, 89, of Douglass, died Monday, April 30, 2001.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ahlerich will be at 10 a.m.
Thursday, May 3, at the United Methodist Church in Rock.
Interment will follow in the Douglass Cemetery.
Mrs. Ahlerich is survived by son, Robert of Rock; daughter,
Kay Ann Jones of Douglass; sister, Catherine Jensen Hendry of Augusta; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association.
