Bessie E. Pippin

Bessie E. Pippin, 86, of Andover, homemaker, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2001.
Her service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, at First United Methodist Church of Augusta, interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
She was bom to Frank Welty and Bessie Ethel Gibson on June 30, 1915, at Walnut, Kan.
Mrs. Pippin is survived by husband, Kenneth; sons, James of Houston, Charles of Olathe, Robert of Benton; sister, Edith Welty of Girard; nine grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with First United Methodist Church of Augusta, 2420 N. Ohio.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Doris H. Dennett

Doris Helen Dennett, 54, Augusta, Dillons front-end coordinator, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2001.
Her service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, at First Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31 at Dunsford Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dennett is survived by husband, David; sons, Michael of Andover, Steven of Braceville, ILL., Brian of Augusta; father, John Stuckey of Boliver, Mo.; mother-in-law, Betty Dennett of Augusta; sisters, Sharon Schreiner of Spring-field, Mo., Carolyn Jenkins of Boliver, Mo.; four grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the First Baptist Church in Augusta.
Dunsford Funeral Home of augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Stella M. Puckett

Stella May Puckett, 95, of Augusta, homemaker, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2001.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, Sept. 6, at Dunsford Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, at Partridge (Kan.) Cemetery.
Mrs. Puckett was bom Dec. 1, 1905 in Hutchinson, to the late Carrie and Harley Zeigler.
She married Robert Puckett on Oct. 27, 1928 in Kansas City, Mo. He preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 1991.
Mrs. Puckett was a resident of Augusta since 1944 and a mem-
ber of the First United Methodist Church of Augusta.
Those she leaves behind are son and daughter-in-law, Robert Jr. and Jill Puckett of Paonia, Colo.; daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Robert Schneider of Fairfield Glade, Tenn.; six grandchildren, and nine greatgrandchildren.
Memorials have been established with Gideons International and the First United Methodist Church, 2420 Ohio, Augusta 67010.

Peggy Spangler

Peggy Suzanne “Suzi” Spangler, 52, of Burns, formerly of Augusta, former nursing home dietary manager, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2001.
Her service was held at 10 a.m. today at Burns United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Spangler is survived by husband, Edwin; sons, Dennis Berner, Sean Berner both of Las Vegas; stepdaughters, Debbie Howell of Benton, Mary Stucky of Vancouver, Wash. Linda Robinson of Florence; brother, Mike Russell of Okla.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Zeiner Funeral Home of Marion is in charge of arrangements.

Rebecca Colling

Rebecca Ann Colling. 75, of Augusta, homemaker, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2001.
A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, and her service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday,
