‘Deanie’ Dickinson

Loydene Ann “Deanie” Dickinson, 60, of Augusta, sales clerk at Village Decorative Shop, died Thursday, March 7, 2002.
Family visitation will be 1 to 6 p.m., Sunday .
Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 11, at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.
Survivors: husband, Darwin L. Dickinson of Augusta; parents, Loyd and Billie Hubbart of Augusta; son, Donald Phillip Dickinson of Augusta; daughter, Dena Goetz of Wichita; sisters, Connie Zwahl of Augusta, Marilyn Williams of rural Augusta; brothers, Butch Hubbart of Augusta, Jerry Hubbart of LaBelle, Fla., Linnie Hubbart of Augusta; three grandchildren.
Memorial established with American Cancer Society, 400 N. Broadway, Wichita, 67202.

Former Augusta resident Shayne Michelle Friday, 28, died Monday, March 4, 2002 in Phoenix, Ariz., from lupus.
Her funeral service will be Saturday, March 9, in Arizona.
She leaves a husband, Jerod, and four children, Caitiyn, Robert, Bodie, and Aimee.

Harlene Fairbanks

Effie Harlene Fairbanks, 78, of Augusta, died Monday, March 4, 2002.
Mrs. Fairbanks was a retired Boeing Aircraft inspector.
Family visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday; March 8.
Her funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Dunsford Funeral Home chapel in
Augusta.
Survivors:
son, James of Wichita; daughters, Janet Ohl of Augusta, Jane Schild of El Dorado; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials to Augusta PlayPark have been suggested.

Gladys Marie Nicks, 73, of Augusta, retired Raytheon Aircraft Co. employee, mother to Clifford Nicks of Augusta, died Tuesday, March 5, 2002.
Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home in West Plains, Mo.
Survivors include: son, Eddie of Maize; daughter, Barbara Goldston of Cheney; brother,
Bobby Brazeal of West Plains; nine grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren.
Memorials established with Sixth Street Church of God and Brandsville Pentecostal Mission Church.

Lula M. Gladfelter

Lula M. Gladfelter, 85, of Augusta, retired dental assistant and homemaker, died Wednesday, March 6, 2002.
Her graveside service was at 1 p.m. today, March 11, at Sunset Lawns Cemetery in El Dorado.
Survivors include sons, Millard of Arboles, Colo.; Dennis of Clearwater, Steve of El Dorado; brother, Sebert Miller of Miami, Okla.; sister, Lydia Finney of San Bernardino, Calif.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial established with Alzheimer’s Association.

Willis Gann

Willis Gann, 72, retired carpenter, of Augusta, died Saturday, March 9, 2002.
Mr. Gann was a Private 1st class infantry in the Korean War.
Public viewing and visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m., Monday; 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday.
His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta.
Survivors include: wife, Betty Jean of the home; sons, Chris, Michael, John, Pete; daughters, Machelle, Teresa, Margie, Terrie; sisters, Ressie, Hazel; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
