Ruth Murray Brown, 75, Norman, Okla., wife of former Augustan, Sidney DeVere Brown, died May 2, 2002.
Memorial services were held Monday, May 13, 2002, at St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church in Norman. Her ashes will be interred in Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Survivors include: husband, Sidney DeVere Brown of the home; sons, Russell Murray Brown and wife, Kathy Loeb of Lexington, Ky., Frederick Leonard Brown of Seattle, Wash.; daughters, Margaret Nickell and husband, Barry of Kansas City, Mo., Nancy Ellen Brown of Fort Collins, Colo.; sister, Patricia Osborn and husband, Chester of Newton; five grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Development Office, Southwestern College, 100 College, Winfield, 67156.

Donna Lee Willson, 77, Augusta, formerly of Douglass and Benton, homemaker, died Sunday, May 26, 2002.
Her funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 30, at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Herman and Ethel Schulze; husband, Earl Willson; sisters, Erma Roeder, Loraine Schulze; brother, Lynn Schulze.
Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Kandis and Ted Shumaker of Augusta; brothers and sister-in-laws, Wayne and Susie Schulze of Douglass, Gene and Maewoodean Schulze of Winfield; three grandchildren.

Howard D. Swartz, 74, Augusta, School bus driver with USD 402 and retired American Family insurance agent, died Tuesday, May 14, 2002.
His funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 18 at Messiah Baptist Church in Wichita. There will be a graveside service at 11:45 a.m., Saturday, May 18 at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow, May 17, at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.
