Lewis Dale "Luigi" Wallace, 60, Augusta, automobile salesman and Marine Corps veteran, died Monday, May 20, 2002. His funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m.
tomorrow, May 23, at the First Christian Church in Augusta.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.
He was preceded in death by his
parents, Earl and Ima Kennedy Wallace and a brother, Leroy Wallace.
Survivors are: wife, JoAnn Wallace of Augusta; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Gina Wallace of Augusta; daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Kent Schaal of El Dorado; daughter, Anna Wallace of Augusta; brothers, Raymond Wallace of Winfield and Ralph Wallace of Bella Vista, Ark.; sisters, Laura Kampschroeder of Arkansas City, Luetta Starkey of Pratt, Lydia Purins of Alberta, Ala., Delores Johnson of Arkansas City, Dollie Hutto of Winfield; mother-in-law, Mabel Coon; grandchildren, Taryn and Tanner Wallace, Jessica, Ashley and Michaela Schaal; many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, 1600 State St., Augusta, 67010.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.
Adelia Jane Hutter
Adelia Jane Hutter, 88, Augusta, retired school psychologist, died Friday, May 17, 2002 at Via Christi St. Joseph Hospital in Wichita.
Adelia was born May 6, 1914 in Keyapaha County, NE. She was married to Clinton Hutter in 1940.
Adelia taught third and fifth grades before becoming the first Special Education teacher in Augusta Public Schools. She later became a school psychologist for the local schools and retired from education in 1984.
She was an active member of the First Christian Church, Hypatia Club, Butler County Retired Teachers Association, and the Brown Baggers Book Club of the Augusta Public Library.
She was preceded in death by husband, Clinton; two brothers, Milan Sharp and Kermit Sharp; daughter-in-law, Janis Carter Hutter.
Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Joyce Hutter; daughter, Janell Hutter; sister, Helen Clark; brother, Robert Sharp; six grandchildren, Jill Hutter Campbell, Shari Hutter Broadway, Cindy Hutter Gilreath, Nicholas Hogan, Andy Hogan, Gabriel Hogan; five great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established in the name and loving memory of Adelia J. Hutter at the First Christian Church, 1600 State St. in Augusta.
Cochran Mortuary in Wichita effected cremation and a memorial service was held at the First Christian Church in Augusta.

George Ray Shields, 46, Augusta, Shields Plumbing owner, died yesterday.
. A memorial service will be at 2:30pm, Saturday, July 8, at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.
SuiMvors include: mother, Pat Shields and step-father, Alvin Rowe of Fall River; brother, Emmett Shields II of Augusta; sisters and brother-in-laws, Cheryl Shields and Mike Shaw, Clayton, Calif., Susan and Martin Coffman Jr. of Elk Falls;
numerous nieces and nephews.
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta is handling the arrangements.

Milton W. Schrag, 95, Penhook, Va., formerly of Augusta, died Saturday, June 15, 2002.
His funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.
Burial will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery, Cedarvale at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
He taught manual arts and driver education in the Augusta school system for 40 years.
Survivors include: son, Vernon Schrag of Penhook, Va.; brother, Robert Schrag of Wichita; sister, Elda Littlejohn of Wichita; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of arrangements.
