Edward L. Coffey
Edward LeRoy Coffey, 70, Augusta, former Boeing Wichita, Coleman Co. and Evcon Plant employee, died Wednesday, June 12, 2002.
His funeral service will be at 2 p.m.Monday, June 17. at
Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen
Funeral Home in Manhattan. A one hour visitation time will precede the service.
Survivors: wife, Ardith; sons, Darrel of Gage, Okla., Randel, Richard, Edward all of Augusta; daughter, Cheryl Jones of
Augusta; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Memorial has been established with Kansas State University Center for Basic Cancer Research.

Neil Tucker Riggs
Neil Tucker Riggs, 18, Augusta, 54 U-Store employee, died Sunday, June 16, 2002.
His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 20, at the First United Methodist Church in Augusta.
Survivors include: parents, Curt and Judy Riggs of Augusta; brother, Landon Riggs of Augusta; sister and brother-in-law, Kelly and Chuck Bird of Augusta; sister, Kristy Miller of
Augusta; grandmother, Alyce Riggs, Augusta; grandparents, Marjorie and Bill Broadstock, Augusta; nieces, Laramie and Alex; nephew, Cody.
A memorial has been established at Bank of America in Augusta. The funds will go to improvements of the basketball court at the city pool.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is handling the arrangements.
Milton W. Schrag
Milton W. Schrag, 95, Penhook, Va., formerly of Augusta, died Saturday, June 15, 2002.
His funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.
Burial will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery, Cedarvale at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
He taught manual arts and driver education in the Augusta school system for 40 years.
Survivors include: son, Vernon Schrag of Penhook, Va.; brother, Robert Schrag of Wichita; sister, Elda Littlejohn of Wichita; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of arrangements.
Pamela C. Reed
Pamela Charlene Reed, 41, Bowling Green, Ky, formerly of Augusta, daughter of Don and Betty Reed of Augusta, died Wednesday, June 26, 2002.
Her graveside service will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow, July 2, at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Visitation with family will be from 5 to 7 p.m. this evening at Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta.
Other survivors include: brother, Lonnie of Neosho, Mo.; sister, LaDonna Nichols of Leon.
Memorial has been established with American Lung Association (for asthma research), 4300 Drury Lane, P.O. Box 4426, Topeka, 66604.
Tressa Rawlings
Tressa Rawlings, 95, Andover, died Sunday, June 23, 2002.
Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow, June 25, at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.
Tressa Rawlings was born June 29, 1906 in Powell, Ark. She was the daughter of Robert Pinkney Cochran and Ada Almina (Racey) Cochran.
Sisters and brothers: Edith Dunn of LaFeria, Texas, died in 1981; Eunice McClure of Wichita died in 1991; Zelma Unland of Corpus Christi, Texas died in 1991; Robert Cochran lives in Weslico, Texas; Lorine Wolf lives in Morrilton, Ark.; Bill Cochran lives in Palmdale, Calif.; Norma Thomkins lives in Corona, Calif.; Earnest Cochran lives in Morrilton, Ark.; Fred Cochran lives in Wichita; Willa Ruth Jaggers lives in Morrilton, Ark.
Tressa moved to Rio Grande Valley in 1924.
She came to Augusta in April 1929. She married Charley Scott Rawlings on June 21, 1930. Their only son, Charles Stanley was born on Nov. 22, 1932.
Tressa and Charley were coowners of Rawlings Tire & Electric from 1934 to 1946. They also co-owned Rawlings Motor Service Pontiac dealership from 1946 to 1956.
They moved to a farm near Haverhill in November of 1956, where they started Linger Lane flower shop in 1962.
In 1975 they retired and moved to Andover. In 1980 they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversay. Charley preceded Tressa in death on Jan. 15, 1982.
Tressa departed this world one week short of her 96th birthday.
She is also survived by grandchildren: Tressa Lynn Rawlings, Shelly Catherine Silvey and William C. Scott Rawlings; great-granddaughter, Shanley Day Silvey.
