Carlene M. (Usery) Pennington, 68, Augusta, owner of Village Decorative Interior, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002.
Her funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the Augusta First Christian Church.
visitation with family will be from 1 to 8 p.m.
tomorrow, Oct. 29, at Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta, Survivors ' include: hus-
band, Dick; son and wife, Rick
and JoAnne of Augusta; grandson and wife, Mike and Shannon of Palmbay, Fla.: grandsons, Matt Pennington of Augusta, Berry Harvey and Taylor Harvey, both of Augusta; niece and husband, Connie and George Dickinson of Marysville.
Memorials have been established with Augusta Skate Park c/o Prairie State Bank, and Hope Community Church.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is handling the arrangements.
Mike Anderson
Rex M. “Mike” Anderson, 55, Augusta, farmer, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002.
His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at
United Methodist Church in Richfield. Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Survivors include: wife,
Myrla; son, Trex of Augusta; daughters, Mendee Anderson, Marcee Anderson, both of Augusta; mother, Hope Anderson of Rolla; brothers, Harold of Truesdale, Bobby of Rolla, Thaine of Cawker City; six grandchildren.
Paul’s Funeral Home in Hugoton is handling the arrangements.
Bonnie Mae Egger
Bonnie Mae Egger, 83, Garnett, homemaker, mother of Susan Henman of Augusta, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002.
Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow, Oct. 29, at Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel in Garnett. Interment will follow at Garnett Cemetery.
Mrs. Egger was preceded in death by husband, Howard Ernest Egger, parents, Dwight and Myrtle Chandler, greatgrandchild, Lars Volsvick.
Other survivors include: son, Ernie Egger of Garnett; daughter Noreen Lair of Wichita; 11 grandchildren;16 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grand-children; four step great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Golden Heights Living Center, which may be left in care of the funeral home.
Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapels, 219, S. Oak, Garnett, 66032, is in charge of arrangements.
Ruth Pauline Elliott
Ruth Pauline Elliott, 80, Augusta, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002.
Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow, Oct. 29, at First Baptist Church in Augusta.
Visitation with family is possible today at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.
She was preceded in death by daughters, Jaunice and Mary Beth, two sisters and three brothers.
Mrs. Elliott was a homemaker most of her married life, serving her community and church whenever possible.
Survivors include: husband, Wayne; daughters, Paula Thummel of Yukon, Okla., Marsha Forsyth of Wichita, Charlotte Hopkins of Bartlesville, Okla., Verna Ecton of Augusta, Jennifer Axmann of Lafayette, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorial has been established with First Baptist Church Pre-School, 1501 State St., Augusta.
