Leoti May Smith

Leoti May Smith, 88, Wichita, formerly of Augusta, retired nurse, died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003.
Her funeral has been held. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Survivors are: son, Larry Michael Smith of Coffeyville; daughter, Lenea Michelle Smith of Wichita; brothers, Charles Tague of Arizona, Arthur Tague, Paul Tague, both of Colorado; sisters, Joanne of Arkansas City, Peggy Evans of Winfield; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Services were arranged by Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

Kenneth E. Tatum

Kenneth E. Tatum, 65, Kaw City, Okla., father of Cheryl Gilbert of Augusta, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003.
His funeral service will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow, Feb. 1, at Grandview Cemetery in Kaw City, Okla.
Other survivors include; wife, Barbara; sons, Clifford Tatum of Arkansas City, SSG Carl Tatum of Fort Carson, Colo.; daughter, Ann Blackwell of Ponca City, Okla.; brothers, Darrell Malcom of Louisiana, Mo., Phillip Tatum, Andrew Tatum, both of Mulvane, Tim Tatum of Wichita; sisters, Linda Grant of Louisiana, Mo., Jane Douglas of Udall, Teresa Young of Houston; stepmother, Mona Tatum of Wichita; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with American Diabetes Association, 4425 W. Airport Freeway, Suite 130, Irving, Texas, 75062.
Grace Memorial Chapel, Kaw City, Okla. had charge of the arrangements.

Hugh McHone

Alfred “Hugh” McHone, 80, Augusta, retired Cessna Aircraft sheet metal worker, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003.
His funeral service will be at
2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta.
Interment will be at Union Cemetery, rural Benton.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.
He was born on March 14, 1922 in Benton to Alfred D. and Lena M. (Phares) McHone.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Jimmy.
His hobbies were hunting, fishing, woodworking, collecting tractors, and watching his kids and grandkids.
Survivors include: his wife of 61 years, Gayle McHone; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Ava McHone, Stan and Debbie McHone, all of Augusta; daughter, Jo McGee of Augusta; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Gary Keely of Augusta; sister, Doris Bowers of Cleburne, Texas; eight grandchildren; six step grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren.
Memorial established with Harry Hynes Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, 67202.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of the arrangements.

Howard Holliday

Howard Y. Holliday, 84, Augusta, retired Mobil Oil employee, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003.
Family will meet with friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7 at Cottonwood Point in Augusta. There will be private family services.
Survivors are: wife, Charlotte of the home; son, Don of Tucson,
Ariz.; daughter, Joyce Cooper of Augusta; sisters, Melba McDaniel of Scottsdale, Ariz., Betty Hall of Cheyenne, Wyo.; four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has established a memorial fund with the Wichita Children’s Home, 810 N. Holyoke, Wichita, 67208.
Watson Funeral Home in Wichita has charge of the arrangements.

Amelia Prilliman

Amelia Prilliman, 84, Milton, homemaker, mother and mother-in-law of Lowell and Marilyn Prilliman of Augusta, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003.
Her graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Conway Springs Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by: husband, Berle Prilliman; brothers, Bill Hladik and Everett Hladik; son, Gary Prilliman; granddaughter, Lori Del Prilliman.
Other survivors are: sons, Hollis of Conway Springs, Larry of Escondido, Calif.; brother, Frank Hladik of Wichita; sisters, Anna Cleland of Ridgecrest, Calif., Irene Stowers of Modesto, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial established with M.A.A.D.
Ebersole Mortuary of Conway Springs is handling the arrangements.
