Venita Canfield

Sadie Venita Canfield, 92, Augusta, homemaker and retired employee of Crooks Cleaners, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2003.
Her graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Visitation will be possible from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16, at Dunsford Chapel in Augusta.
She was preceded in death by husband, Merle in 1994.
Survivors include: sons, Marvin Canfield of Augusta, Melvin Canfield of Andover; nine grandchildren; 37 greatgrandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, 67202.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.

Alethea Bohner

Alethea (Dennis) Bohner, 78, Cheney, homemaker, stepmother of Debra Evans of Augusta, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003.
Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at Lanterman Funeral Home in Cheney.
Other survivors include: husband, Kenneth; stepson, Stanley Bohner of Wichita; stepdaughter, Cindy Kimble of Wichita; brother, James A. Dennis of Goddard; sisters, Alberta Harms of Wichita, Alma Ricketts of Greensburg; four step-grandchildren.
Lanterman Funeral Home of Cheney is handling the arrangements.

Ona J. Brasier

Ona J. (McKnight) Brasier, 88, Wichita, retired L.P.N., died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2003.
Visitation with family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today; funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, both at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.
She was preceded in death by husband, Hulet Brasier and parents, Clare and Carrie (Learned) McKnight.
She is survived by sister, Lois McKnight of Wichita.
Memorial has been established with Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, 710 W. 168th St., New York, NY, 10032-9982.
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of arrangements.

Eunice L. Schweitzer

Eunice L. Schweitzer, 92, Derby, died Monday, Feb. 10, 2003.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at First Presbyterian Church in Derby.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Smith Mortuary, Derby. Burial will be in the El Paso Cemetery.
Survivors include nieces, Kathy Baker, Barbara Peterson, both of Augusta, nephews, David Nachbor of Benton, Harley Nachbor, Richard Nachbor, both of Augusta, Leonard Nachbor of Wichita, numerous great nieces and nephews.
Memorials have been established with the First Presbyterian Church, 324 N. Baltimore, Derby, 67037; Cooperstone Apartments, c/o Judy Jones, 445 N. Westview Drive, Derby, 67037; Heartland Hospice and Home Health Care, 1410 N. Woodlawn, Derby, 67037.
