Wilma Mae Day

Wilma Mae Day, 75, Augusta, an employee at Magic Focus, Inc. and retired Town & Country manager, died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003.
Her memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Martin Gaudren and Reita Useba Sinn Gaudren; sister, Marilyn Kramer; grandson, Warren Day.
Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Linda Day, Scott and Candy Day, all of Augusta; daughters and sons-in-law, Roxanne and Les Limon of El Dorado, Mary and John Battle of Brazoria, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Connie Gaudren of Hulsey, Ore.; brother, Dennis Gaudren of Lyons, Colo.; sisters, Janice Helus of Colby, Norma Seems of Malvern, Carolyn Riley of Oregon, Reita Smith of Hughes Springs, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren .
Memorials may be made to Gerard House, c/o Via Christi Foundation, 3600 E. Harry, Wichita, 67218.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of the arrangements.

Betty Faye Hightower

Homemaker Betty Faye Hightower, 75, Augusta, died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003.
Her funeral service was held today, Feb, 10, at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.
Survivors are: son, Tom Halsey of Augusta; brothers, Dale Ash, Wyman Ray Ash, both of Stroud, Okla., Johnny Ash of German, Texas, Billy Don Ash of Kendrick, Okla., 10 grandchildren
Memorial established with Heartland Home Healthcare and Hospice, 1410 Woodlawn, S-D, Derby, 67037.
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta handled the arrangements.

Minnie F. Clark

Homemaker Minnie F. Clark, 84, Augusta, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2003.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at First Southern Baptist Church in Augusta.
Visitation with family 6 to 8 p.m. today, Feb. 10, at Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta.
She was preceded in death by husband, Lloyd Clark; parents, Harry and Mabel Tway; granddaughter, MacKensie Davis.
Survivors are: sons and daughters-in-law, William and Phyllis Clark, Robert and Dianne Clark, all of Douglass, L. Bruce and Dala Clark of Leon; brother, Clarence Tway of Augusta; sisters, Mabel Singleton of Norris City, ILL., Billie Fletcher of Salina; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

MaryLou Shaft

MaryLou (Rymph) Shaft, 72, Douglass, retired nursing home administrator and area manager, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003, surrounded by family and friends.
Her graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at Calvary Cemetery, Augusta.
Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church in Augusta.
She was born in Harper on Aug. 9, 1930 and lived in Douglass.
She was preceded in death by mother, Vareen Rymph.
Survivors include: husband, Howard D. Shaft of Douglass; father, Delmar Rymph of Conway Springs; son and daugh-ter-in-law, Stephen and Beverly Mardis; stepson and step daughter-in-law, Craig and Mary Shaft.
