Jack Martin Sr.

Jack Martin Sr., 62, Oilton. Okla., formerly of Augusta, director of Emergency Management Services for the City of Oilton, died Tuesday Feb. 11, 2003.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Oilton Free Will Baptist .Church. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery at Oilton.
He was preceded in death by parents George Robert Martin and Agnes (Cartwright) Martin and son, Chris Lee Martin.
Survivors include: wife, Doris Martin of the home; sons, Jack Martin, Jr, Patrick Martin, both of Oilton, Okla.; brother, George R. Martin of Newton; two granddaughters; many relatives and friends.
Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright, Okla, has charge of the arrangements.

John E. Huston

John E. Huston, 75, Rose Hill, formerly of Augusta, retired Star Lumber and Supply Co. lumber salesman, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2003
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Rose Hill.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Active in Butler County, he served on the Board of the Augusta Airport and with the Butler County Planning and Zoning Commission.
Survivors include: wife, Marilyn; son, John Huston of Rose Hill; sisters, Mona Lee Ingold of Augusta, Joann Welch of Wichita; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial established with First Baptist Church, 1206 N. Rose Hill Rd„ Rose Hill, 67133.
Watson Funeral Home of Wichita is in charge of the arrangements.

‘Jack’ Curry

Max Leo “Jack” Curry, 83, Donna, Texas, formerly of Augusta, retired Mobil Oil Co. warehouse manager, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003.
His funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at Dunsford Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
He was born Aug. 4, 1919 in Wichita to John and Jenny (Cunningham) Curry.
He grew up in Atlanta and served in the Army during World War II. He and his wife, Farra, lived in Augusta until retiring to Donna, Texas, in 1984.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Farra and granddaughter, Katie White.
Survivor: daughters, Lee Ann Igoe of Columbus, Ohio, Alicia Kandt of Wichita, Linda White of Coeurd-Alene, Idaho; grandchildren, Todd Bryan of Snohomish, Wash., Lisa White of Spokane, Wash.; great-grandchildren, Kailah Bryan, Trent Liebergot.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of the arrangements.

Clifford J. Pray

Clifford Junior Pray, 75, Wichita, C.J. Pray Service owner, father of Sheryl Pray of Douglass, died Monday, Feb. 10, 2003.
His service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Wichita.
He was preceded in death by parents, Clifford and Frances Pray and brother, Bob Pray.
Other survivors include: wife, Julia Mae; daughters, Linda Pray of Rose Hill, Shirley Blank of Lyons, Jeanie Rich of Milton, Joyce Pettengill of Benton; brother, Ronald Pray of Wichita; sisters, Ilene Kohler of Cheney, Ruby Alliston of Wichita.'eight grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren.
Memorials established with Faith Home Health and Hospice and Andover United Methodist Church.
Lakeview Funeral Home of Wichita is handling the arrangements.
