Gearldene Ervin
Retired Boeing employee Gearldene K. Ervin, 74, Wichita, mother of Kaye Ward of Augusta, died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2003.
Her funeral service was held today, Feb. 18, at Emporia Avenue Church of Christ in Wichita.
Other survivors include: husband, Toby of the home; sons, Stephen Coley of Blanchard, Okla., Tom Coley of Mt. Home, Ark.; daughter, Carol Lea Mathews of Milledgeville, ILL; stepson, Randy Ervin of Topeka; stepdaughter, Pamela Hart of Plano, Texas; sisters, Blanche Oldham of Russellville, Ark., Pearl Kirkland of Sterling, Ill.; six grandchildren.
Memorial established with Emporia Avenue Church of Christ Library Fund.
Arrangements made by Ebersole Mortuary of Conway Springs.

William “Bill” Wallace Bliss, 48, Derby, former self-employed insurance agent, died Friday, Feb. 14, 2003.
His funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21 at the First Baptist Church in Augusta.
Visitation will be possible from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.
Survivors: son, Bryan Bliss of Wichita; daughters, Jennifer R. Hopkins of Andover, Karyn M. McDaniel of Derby; brother, Rev. John J. Bliss of Council Grove; four grandchildren.

Sylvie Lynn Albertson, infant daughter of Todd and Shawnie Albertson, died Friday, Feb. 14, 2003.
Her graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at the Kuster Cemetery, east of Augusta.
In addition to her parents, she leaves sisters, Sydnie Forrester of Augusta and Taylor Albertson of Wichita, and a brother, David Forrester of Augusta; grandparents, Roger and Fran Stuber of Concordia as well as Gary and Kay Albertson of Haysville.
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Retired school teacher C. Jean Williams, 80, Haysville, sister of Sam Shryock of Augusta, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2003.
Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, in St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church at Haysville.
Visitation with family at 5:30 p.m, today. Rosary at 7 p.m. this evening in the church.
Other survivors: husband, William Oscar; sons, James Franklin, Robert Meredith, Thomas Lewis, all of Haysville; daughters, Jeanette Marie Luckner, Kathleen Yvonne Calvert, Elizabeth Anne Avila, all of Clearwater; brother, Meredith Grant Shryock of Greshem, Ore.; 16 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
All Faiths Funeral Services is handling the arrangements.
Donald Bolinger
Donald E. Bolinger, 76, Sun City, Ariz., formerly of Augusta, pharmaceutical employee, died Friday, Feb. 14, 2003.
His funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta.
He served during Wolrd War II with the United States Army Aircorp.
Survivors are: wife, Marge; son, Larry of Sun City, Ariz.; brother, Jack of Orlando, Fla.; three grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren.
Memorials in his name may be made to favorite charity.

Harry Neil “Bud” Clothier, 69, Great Bend, brick mason and retired Fuller Brush Co. salesman, brother of Wilma Renfro of Augusta, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003.
His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend.
Other survivors include: wife, Gloria; son, Tim of Great Bend; daughters, Tami Crain of Tribune, Teresa Bartolotta of Rowlett, Texas, Tonya Mathes of Knoxville, Tenn.; brother, Dr. Orval Clothier of Wichita; sisters, Helen James-Johnson of Saratoga, Texas, Jean Jordan of Great Bend; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
