Gladys Louise Bentz Spingler
Gladys Louise Bentz (Harvey) Spingler, 80, Wichita, retired, mother and mother-in-law of Larry P. and Debbie Bentz of Augusta, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003.
Service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 21, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Wichita.
She was preceded in death by: parents, John and Gladys (Finney) Harvey; son, John W. Bentz II, four brothers, and one sister.
Other survivors include: daughters, Rebecca J. Smith of Wichita, Arzanna Louise Hanna of Eagle, Colo., Debra E. Pufahl of Wichita, Pamela J. Reeb of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; brother, John R. Harvey of Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada; sister, Jean Gundecker of Wyoming, Minn.; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Memorial established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.

Treva Alice (Norris) James, 83, Wichita, homemaker, formerly of Augusta, died Monday, March 24, 2003.
Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today, March 26, at Dunsford Funeral Home, of Augusta.
Her graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 27, at Havana Cemetery in Havana..
Survivors are: sons, Ronald M. James of Cleveland, Okla., Charles A. James of Wichita; daughter, Wilma Irene Weinhold of Loveland, Colo.; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grand-children.

Verla N. Bailey, 85, Douglass, retired postal employee, died Thursday, March 27, 2003.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, at Dunsford Chapel in Augusta.
Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 31 at the Douglass Church of Christ.
Survivors: numerous nephews and nieces.
Memorials to the Douglass Senior Center have been suggested.

Anna Marie (Smith) Drake, 69, Wichita, died Tuesday, April 1, 2003.
Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 4, at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.
She was preceded in death by son, Larry Drake and brother, Warren Smith.
