Esther M. Ball

Esther Margaret Ball, 90, Augusta, homemaker, Public Health registered nurse for Butler and Greenwood Counties, died Saturday, April 19, 2003.
Her memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, at the Augusta First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by husband, Phillip S. Ball.
Survivors include: son, Michael Ball of Wichita; daughter, Barbara Boettcher of Beloit; six grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren.
Memorials established with Augusta First United Methodist Church, Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice of Wichita, and Kansas Humane Society, Wichita.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.

Leonard Boehm

Leonard R. Boehm, 81, Haysville, retired Wichita Sheet Metal production manager, father and father-in-law of Dewain and Jan Boehm of Augusta, died Friday, April 18, 2003.
Rosary at 7 p.m. this evening, April 21. His funeral service at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, both at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Haysville.
He was preceded in death by parents, brothers and sisters.
Survivors include: wife, Rita; sons, Richard Boehm of Denver, Colo., Terry, Mike, Tom and Jim Boehm all of Haysville; daughter, Annette Bennett of Haysville; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
Memorial established with St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 1802 W. Grand Ave., Haysville, 67060.
Webb Mortuary of Clearwater has charge of arrangements.

Virgil R. Wike

Virgil R. Wike, 83, Whitewater, construction finish carpenter, formerly of Augusta, died on Wednesday, April 23, 2003.
His funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 28, at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.
Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. on Monday.
He was preceded in death by parents, Vesta and Amber (Murray) Wike; three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors. include: wife, Marjorie Wike; son, Vernon Wike of Prescott, Ariz.; stepdaughters, Helen Hull-Parker of Chase, Virginia Hull-Stricker of Ankeny, Iowa; sister, Delma Wike-Pencer of Bossier City, La.; two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren.
Memorials established with American Heart Association and the National Kidney Foundation.
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.
