Brian Curtis Van Fossan

Brian Curtis Van Fossan, 39, Wichita, food service worker, brother of Mark Van Fossan of Augusta, died Tuesday, April 22, 2003.
His funeral service will be 6 p.m. this evening, April 24, at Salvation Army Adult Rehab Center, 3601 N. St. Francis in Wichita.
Other survivors include: mother, Rebecca Rorex of Wichita; father, Wayne Van Fossan of Clarkston, Mich.; brother, Dale of Summers, Conn.
All Faiths Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Katherine R. Alley

Katherine R. Alley, 100, Derby, formerly of Douglass, homemaker, died Tuesday, April 22, 2003.
Her service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, at the Derby Church of Christ. Burial will follow in El Paso Cemetery.
Visitation with family 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 25, at Hillside Funeral Home East Chapel in Wichita.
Survivors include: sons,
William C. of Wichita, Mark of Drexel, Mo., Marion of Wichita, Gary of Derby, Donald of Winfield; daughters, Wilma Austin of Columbia, MO, Shirley Walters of Woodstock, Ga., Elaine Kohner of Winona, Minn., Sondra Drake of Parker, Texas; brother, Woodrow Berger of Wichita; 29 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Maude Carpenter Childrens Home, 1501 N. Meridian, Wichita, 67203.

David L. Leach

David L. Leach, 49, Mulvane, Boeing Wichita employee, brother of Gary Leach of Douglass, died Tuesday, April 22, 2003.
A memorial service will be held at 1p.m. Monday, April 28, at New Heights Christian Fellowship in Derby.
There will be no visitation.
Other survivors include: wife, Connie; daughter, Angie of Wichita; son, Derek of Mulvane; parents, Virgil and Lillian of Grove, Okla.; brother, Danny of Miami, Okla.; grandmother,
Francis Linn of Colcord, Okla.; sisters, LaVona Marsh of Wichita, Virginia Riggs, Nola Riggs, both of Arkansas City; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial established with Hospice Care of Kansas.
Smith Mortuary of Derby has charge of the arrangements.

Mark Steven “Steve” King, 48, Augusta, Kaneb Pipeline dispatcher, died Tuesday, April 22, 2003.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, at the First United Methodist Church in Arkansas City.
Survivors are: wife, Cindy; children, Kristi DeMint, Craig King, Cami King, Chase Weston, Holly Weston; parents, Martin and Gwendolyn King.
Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home of Arkansas City has charge of the arrangements.

Harry Nicely Jr.

Harry Basil Nicely Jr., 75, Wichita, retired auto mechanic, formerly of Augusta, father of Donald Nicely of Augusta, died Monday, April 21, 2003.
His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m Friday,April 25, at Living Word Outreach in Wichita.
Other survivors include: wife, Ella of the home; son, Michael Nicely of Fort Collins, Colo.; daughters, Pat Thorne of Whitewater, Debra Nicely Wilson of Chesapeake, VA.; step-daughters, Sondra Omara of Wichita, Melissa Money of Humble, Texas; brothers, Gene Nicely of Ozawkie, Glenn Nicely of Topeka; sisters, Karen McAughlin of Charleston, SC, Linda Barraclough of Topeka, Judy Tolbot of Wagoner, Okla.; 17 grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren.

Lyle A. Powers

Lyle A. Powers, 90, Sedan, retired farmer, brother of Tressa Myers of Augusta, died Sunday, April 27, 2003.
His service will be held today, April 29, at the Sedan First Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: wife, Mildred; daughter, Patricia Hart of Sedan; sister, Mary Dean January of Shell Knob, Mo.; 11 grandchildren.
David W. Barnes Funeral Home of Sedan was in charge of the arrangements.
