Arthur A. Nuce
Arthur A. Nuce, 78, Moundridge, retired Butler County surveyor and former Butler County resident, died Thursday, May 1, 2003.
His funeral service was held today, May 5, at Moundridge Funeral Home.
Mr. Nuce was a veteran of World War II, U.S. Navy Commando assigned to the U.S.S. Ancon.
Survivors are: wife, Lois J. Nuce of Moundridge; sons, William A. of Wichita, Warren A. of Moundridge; daughters, Twana A. Villarreal of McPherson, Gidget A. Paris of Hutchinson; brothers, Tom Nuce of Tracy, Calif., Leonard Nuce of Stockton, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to Memorial Home and Hopefield Mennonite Church, both in care of the funeral home.
Moundridge Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.

Laura Adeline Hoch, 92, Laverne, Okla., retired school teacher, mother of Don Hoch of Augusta, died Sunday, May 4, 2003.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, at the Laverne United Methodist Church.
Other survivors include: sons, Roy Hoch, Jr. of Laverne, A.Lynn Hoch of Frederick, Md.; daughter, Diane Oliver of Woodward, Okla.; two sisters.
Myatt Seeger Funeral Home of Laverne, Okla., is in charge of the arrangements.
Betty A. Bogart
Betty A. Bogart, 65, El Dorado, Farm Bureau Insurance office manager, mother of Dena Sizemore of Douglass, died Monday, May 5, 2003.
Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 8, at First Southern Baptist Church of El Dorado.
Other survivors include: husband, George; daughters, Deborah Cooper of Winfield, Diana Kohls of Leon; brothers, James and Robert Brown of Arkansas City.
Carlson Funeral Home of El Dorado has charge of the arrangements.
The flying fish can soar up to 1,000 feet.
Beulah Black
Beulah Black, 91, Augusta, died Sunday, May 4, 2003.
Her services were pending this morning.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.
