Wayne Howard

Wayne C. Howard, 53, Wichita, disabled Vietnam war veteran, brother of Betty C. Rader of Augusta, died Saturday, May 10, 2003.
His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, at All Faiths Chapel in Wichita. Interment will be at Wilmot Cemetery in Wilmot.
Mr. Howard was preceded in death by parents, Dorothy and Johnny M. Howard, and brother, James L. Howard.
Other survivors include: wife, Patricia Howard of Wichita; son, Rusty W. Howard of Valley Center; daughter, Kelly Howard of Lafayette, Ind.; sister, Mary Lou Howard of Wichita; brothers, Johnny M. Howard of Oklahoma City, Gary G. Howard of Kansas City, Kans., Robert K. Howard of Goddard, Michael Howard of Wichita.; two grandchildren.
Visitation with family is possible from 4 to 6 p.m. today, May 13, at the funeral home.

Teresa L. Knepp

Teresa L. Knepp, 37, Augusta, retired Boeing Wichita office administrator, died Friday, May 16, 2003.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Andover Assembly of God.
Survivors are: parents, Ronald and Judy Knepp of Augusta; brother and spouse, Danny and Michelle Knepp of Tulsa, Okla.; sister and spouse, Connie and Casey McAllister of Augusta; grandmother, Marjorie Dumler of Russell; nephews. Andrew Knepp, Mitchell McAllister; niece, Shelly Knepp.
Memorial has been established with Andover Assembly of God.
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.


Charlene Youngblood

Charlene Youngblood, 71, Biloxi, Miss., formerly of Augusta, died Wednesday, May 14, 2003.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday with graveside service following at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
She was an Air Force wife who supported her husband during numerous tours of duty. She was an avid craftsman who displayed her talents as “Punk’s Junk” in several craft fairs throughout the years. She was a loving mother who raised two children and four grandchildren. She was a best buddy and friend and will be greatly missed by family, friends and everyone who knew her.
Survivors are: husband, Jackie Ray Youngblood of Biloxi; daughter, Charla Raye Youngblood-Jones and husband, Roy of Myrtle Beach, SC; son, Mark Downing Youngblood and his wife, Margaret of Okinawa, Japan; four grandchildren, Jackie Ray Youngblood and Joelnell Jean Hawkins, both of Tacoma, Wash., Dereck Downing Youngblood and Devon Downing
Youngblood, both of Okinawa, Japan.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to the Humane Society of South Mississippi, 13756 Washington Ave., Gulfport, MS, 39503.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.

Diane Thompson

Diane Kay (Miller) Thompson, 41, Bailey, Colo., entered eternal life on Friday, May 16, 2003.
A private memorial service was held in Andover.
She was the daughter of Jack J. Miller of Andover and Shirley (Gross) Gastineau of Littleton, Colo. She was the granddaughter of Audine Miller of Andover, formerly of Augusta.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Sam Miller, Gladys and Eddie Gross, all of Augusta.
Other survivors include: daughter, Nicole Thompson; best friend and companion, Eric Engen of Bailey, Colo.; sister, Wendy Carpenter and husband, Mike and their three children, Hannah Storrer, Megan and Andi Carpenter; her extended family, step mother, Darleen Miller; step brothers and step sister, Roger Scholfield, Andover, Randy Scholfield of Wichita, Robinn Cooper of Andover, Jas Schultzman of Littleton, Colo.
