Willie Opal May
Willie Opal May, 85, Anderson, Mo., formerly of Andover, died Saturday, May 17,2003.
She was a homemaker and loved to make quilts for family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 20 at the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Mo. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Andover Cemetery in Andover.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James William and Hester (Downing) Lowry; husband, Francis J. May in 1969; infant daughter, Benny Ruth May in 1937; great-granddaughter, Erica Smith.
Survivors include: sons, Leon May and wife, Nancy of Noel, Mo., Joey D. May and wife. Patricia of Wichita: daughter, Yvonna
Hutchinson and husband, Alvin of Goodman, Mo.; nine grandchildren include, Becky Cryderman and Leann Boucher of Augusta, Kelly Shelton of Wichita, Donna Murray of Andover, Richard May of Fla.; 16 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Mo. is in charge of the arrangements.

Charles T. Rust, 78, Wichita, retired Teamster Local 795 and McLean Truck Lines truck driver, father of
Helen Bannon of Augusta, died Friday, May 16, 2003.
Funeral Mass was held today at St. Jude Catholic Church.
Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret; daughter, Phyliss Adamson; sister, Kathryn Zackula.
Other survivors include: sons, Benjamin J. Schultz, Wichita, Bill Rust, Oronogo, Mo.; daughters, Leatris Brummett, Olathe, Carol Hubbard, Linda Johnson, Debra Goebel, all of Wichita; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial established with St. Jude Catholic Church, 3130 N. Amidon, Wichita, 67204.
Cochran Mortuary handled the arrangements.
Edgar Hawley
Edgar “Ed” Hawley, 75, Wichita, retired sheet metal worker, brother and brother-in-law of Darrel and Mary Ann Hawley of Augusta, died Saturday, May 17, 2003.
Funeral service will be Wednesday at Lakeview Chapel in Wichita.
He was preceded in death by parents, Ray and Florence Marie Hawley, infant sister, June.
Other survivors include: wife, Lula; sons, Douglas of Leon, Gary of Andover; daughter, Patty Sprague of Wichita; sister, Joyce Harger of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren.
Memorials to Woodridge Christian Church or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
Lakeview Mortuary of Wichita has charge of the arrangements.
