Neva Iona Foster

Neva Iona Foster, 90, retired registered nurse, Towanda, Lakepoint Nursing Home of Augusta resident, died Thursday, May 15, 2003.
Funeral services were held today at the Towanda United Methodist Church of Christ. Interment followed in the Towanda Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry S. and Edith Marlatt, sister, Zona Paul.
Survivors include: son, Carl Foster of Towanda; daughter, Alene Wilson of Towanda; brother Harold Marlatt of Montrose, Colo.;
sister, Sarah Penna of Denver, Colo.; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
Memorial has been established with Towanda United Methodist Church of Christ. Contributions may be left with Kirby-Morris Funeral Home of El Dorado, who has charge of the arrangements.

Terrance F. Thornton

Terrance F. Thornton, 64, Culver, formerly of Augusta, died Saturday, May 10, 2003. He died of injuries sustained in an ultralight plane crash that occurred 15 miles northwest of Salina.
A memorial service was held in Salina.
He was the owner of Terrible Terry’s Takeaway Restaurant in Salina.
Preceded in death by parents, Tony and Juanita Thornton of Augusta.
Survivors include: wife, Susan Miller of the home; daughter, Rhonda R. Haase of Salina; son, Terrance F. II of Salina; stepsons, Eric Schwartzkopf of Los Angeles, Jeff Schwartzkopf of Overland Park; stepdaughter, Jane Schwartzkopf of Los Angeles; brother, Joseph of Huntington Beach, Calif.; four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Terrance Frederick Thornton II Scholarship Fund.
Ryan Mortuary of Salina had charge of the arrangements.

Tom Cline

Tom Cline, 93, Atlanta, retired Cessna Aircraft Co. employee, father of Jack Tolbert of Augusta, died Sunday, May 18, 2003.
His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, at Miles Funeral Home in Winfield.
Other survivors include: son, Michael Tolbert; daughter, Judy Chenoweth, Atlanta; nine grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren.
Miles Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

Wallace Smalley

Wallace E. Smalley, 78, Augusta, retired lumberman and delivery man of building supplies for Antrim and Safford Lumber Company in Augusta and Mayo Sash and Door Co. of Wichita, died Wednesday, May 21, 2003.
His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 24, at the Augusta Assembly of God Church. Burial will SMALLEY follow at 1:30 p.m. in
Attica Cemetery in Attica. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 23, at Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Survivors are: wife, Thelma Smalley of Augusta; son, Ron Smalley of Augusta; daughter, Vicki Blackwell and husband, Lyndon of Burlington; grandchildren, Christy Monasmith and husband, Joel, David Blackwell, all of Burlington; one great-grandson, Jadon Nile Monasmith; sisters, Ruby Catlin, Ruth Tharp, both of Kiowa, Millie Davis of Hutchinson.
Memorial has been established with the First Assembly of God Church in Augusta.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.
