J.D. Seeger
J.D. “Duke” Seeger, 86, Mulvane, retired Beech Aircraft employee, brother of Polly Ward of Douglass, died Saturday, June 7, 2003.
His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at the Mulvane Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Henry and Zelda; wife, Dottie; sister, Mickey Chapman.
Other survivors include: daughters, Anita Daniels of Derby, Sue Cunningham of Overland Park, Diane Lott of Minneapolis; sister, Alfreda
Achenbach of Wichita; eight grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Kansas Christian Home Fellowship of John, 1035 S.E. 3rd St., Newton, 67114.
Senter-Smith Mortuary of Mulvane is handling the arrangements.
Norma Little
Norma Louise Little, 74, homemaker, Augusta, died Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at her residence.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, at the Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Mrs. Little was born in rural Benton on July 10, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Clifford Roy and Wilda Faye (Wintermote) Whitson.
She was a member of the Augusta First Baptist Church.
On Dec. 30, 1949 she married Edwin Little in Oklahoma. He survives.
In addition to her husband, other survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Cindy Little of Wichita; daughter
and son-in-law, Janice and Gary Fischer of Douglass; brothers and sisters-in-law, Troy and June Whitson, Jay, Okla., Milton and Connie Whitson of Augusta, Ivan and Suebon Whitson of Wichita; sister and brother-in-law, Wauna and Fred Fuller of Augusta; grandchild and spouse, Jessie and Catherine Fischer; grandchildren, Nickie and Diane Little; great-grandchildren, Josie and Calie Fischer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Total Homecare and Hospice, 250 W. Douglas, Suite 101, Wichita, 67202.
Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.
Delano Banister
Delano H. Banister, 86, Hugoton, retired Haliburton Energy Services, father of Daryl Banister of Augusta, died Thursday, June 12, 2003.
His funeral service was held this morning, June 16, at Bethel Friends Church.
Other survivors include: wife, Barbara; daughters, Janice Bell of Liberal, Cheryl Handy of Oklahoma City; 12
grandchildren.
Miller Mortuary of Liberal had charge of the arrangements.
Loretta Brewer
Loretta L. Brewer, 69, El Dorado, homemaker, died Thursday, June 12, 2003.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18 at Hillside Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta.
Survivors are: daughter, April Brewer of El Dorado; sister, Bonnie Bass of Dennison, Texas; four grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent in care of Hillside Funeral Home, 117 W. Sixth, Augusta, 67010.
