Chuck Kenworthy
Charles T. “Chuck” Kenworthy, 65, Mulvane, ab employee for the formner Criss Optical Co. in Augusta, died Wednesday, June 18, 2003.
His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow, June 20, at Smith Mortuary in Derby. Out of state burial will’ be at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy, Mich.
Survivors are: wife, Mary; sons, Charles Jr., Kevin, Ralph, all of Weidmann, Mich., Shaun of Ottawa, Robert of Mulvane; daughters, Mary Kenworthy-Lough of Mt. Pleasant, Melanie Davis of Wichita, Dr. Amy Kenworthy of Topeka; brother and sister- in-law, Carl and Barbara of Lake Orion, Mich.; sister, Margaret Melton of Pontiac, Mich.; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Smith Mortuary of Derby has charge of the arrangements.

Madonna C. Whitt, 78, El Dorado, retired nurse, mother of Katharine Biggs of Augusta, died Tuesday, June 17, 2003.
Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 20 at Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado.
Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21, at St. John’s Catholic Church in El Dorado. Interment will follow in Walnut Valley Memorial Park.
She was preceded in death by parents, Edward B. and Katharine B. (Egan) Derks, husband, Perry Whitt, Jr.
Other survivors: daughter, Barbara Fitzroy of Wichita; brothers, Ed Derks of Council Bluff, Iowa, Robert Derks, St. Joseph, Mo., Herbert Derks of King
City, Mo.; sisters, Kathleen Donovan, JoAnn Dannevik, Carol Stoll, all of Stanberry, Mo., Theresa Moore, Marshall, Mo.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Memorials in her memory for Basic Cancer Research, Kansas State University may be left at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado, who has charge of the arrangements.

Elresa “Jean” Willinger, 77, Wichita, homemaker, mother of Carolyn Schild of Augusta, died Wednesday, June 18, 2003.
Her graveside service will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow, June 21, at Maple Grove Cemetery in Wichita.
Visitation with family 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at Hillside Funeral Home East in Wichita.
Other survivors include: sons, Frank Parrent of Springfield, Mo., Ron Parrent of Cheney, Chuck Snavely of Topeka; daughter, June Parrent of Penn.; sister, Eunice Schenk of Haysville; 12 grandchildren; 18 greatgrandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Hillside Funeral Home East of Wichita has charge of the arrangements.
