Margarite Dodson
Margarite L. Dodson, 89, Augusta, retired health care administrator of Walnut Valley Manor of Augusta and Licensed Practical Nurse, died Monday, July 7, 2003.
Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 10, at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.
Visitation with the family will be possible from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 9.
Survivors include: daughter, Elizabeth Heinrich of El Dorado; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Susie Wilkerson of Oxford; sisters, JoAnn Jefferies of Ulman, Mo., Louise Ogbin of Lebanon, Ore.; grandchildren and spouses, Terri arid Rev. Kevin McAfee of Oklahoma City, Okla., Brad and Kelly Wilkerson of Mineral Wells, Texas, Warner and Renee Harrison of Augusta, Dr. Gordon and Lynette Harrison of Harding, Mont., Holly and Dr. Michael Stevens of Wichita, Grant and Denise Wilkerson of Topeka; great-grandchildren, Natalie Laverty, Brianna Myatt, Sarah Stevens, Kent Wilkerson, Erin Stevens, Gordon Harrison II, Max Stevens, Danielle Harrison, Michael McAfee, Colby Sparrow, Hannah Stevens, Hayley Stevens, Victoria Harrison, Mathew McAfee, Hunter Stevens, Codi Harrison, Harper Stevens; great-great-grandchildren, Anna and Katherine Laverty.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Angie (Stephens) Brown; son, Ivan C. Wilkerson; her husbands, Arthur Dodson and Benjamin Wilkerson.
Memorial established with First Christian Church, 1600 State, Augusta, 67010.
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.

Francis Dale Stanley, 83, Manhattan, retired public educator superintendent, father of Doug Stanley of Augusta, died Sunday, June 29, 2003.
His funeral service will be at 9 a.m. tomorrow, July 2, at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Funeral Home in Topeka. Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at Dwight (Kans.) Cemetery.
Other survivors include: wife, Mary; sons, Denis of Lake Perry, Dale of Manhattan; daughter, IlaRose Bosworth of Topeka; sister, Ruth Porter of San Jose, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
