Robert Burns

Former Augusta resident Robert “Bob” Burns, 74, Bella Vista, Ark., died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2003.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 5, at the Highlands United Methodist Church in Bella Vista.
He served in the United States Marine Corp and worked for Cessna Aircraft.
Survivors include: wife of 43 years, Jane Burns of Bella Vista; brothers, Orbrey Burns, J.D. “Pete” Burns and wife, Barbara, all of Phoenix, Ariz.; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 610 E. Emma, Springdale, Ark., 72764, or to the Highlands United Methodist Church, 371 Glasgow Rd., Bella Vista, Ark., 72715, or to the charity of donor’s choice.
Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory has charge of the arrangements.

Elizabeth K. Nachbor

Homemaker Elizabeth K. Nachbor, 87, Douglass, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2003.
Her funeral service will
be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 5, at Hillside Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta.
She was preceded in death by husband, Henry.
Survivors include: sons, Leonard of Wichita, Richard and Harley, both of Augusta; brother, George Rausch of Conway Springs; eight grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren.
Memorial established with St. James Catholic Church, 1012 Belmont Ave., Augusta, 67010.
Hillside Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Becky Lauderback

Becky (Fisher) Lauderback, 49, Wichita, Superior School Supply staff accountant, sister of Rick Fisher of Augusta, died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2003.
Rosary and visitation with family at 7 p.m. this evening at the Cochran Mortuary Chapel of Roses in Wichita.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Wichita.
Other survivors include: husband, Loren of the home; sons, Wayne of Fort Hood, Texas, Scott of Wichita; daughters, Cheryle Meier and Kristi Meier, of
Wichita; parents, Dick and Luvina Fisher, Wichita; brothers, Martin Fisher, Tim Fisher, Chris Fisher, and Phil Fisher, all of Wichita; sisters, Gina Mohr of Indianapolis, Ind., Ruthann Santillie of Wichita, Bonnie Saranko of Andover, Teresa Gardiner of Goddard; nine grandchildren.
Memorial established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, 67202.
Cochran Mortuary of Wichita has charge of the arrangements.

Mark B. Adams

Mark B. Adams, 52, Oklahoma City, Okla., computer programmer for Hertz Corporation, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2003. He was the son of Verna and the late Mel Adams, formerly of Augusta.
Private inurnment services at Pioneer Cemetery will be held later.
Survivors are: mother, Verna of Lawrence; sister, Linda Liles, Longmont, Colo.; nephew, Blake of Longmont, Colo.
The family suggests memorials to the National Wildlife Foundation or charity of donor’s choice.
Warren-McElwain Mortuary of Lawrence is in charge of the arrangements.

Ada L. Reavis

Ada Lois Reavis, 104, Lakepoint Nursing Center of Augusta resident, formerly of Manhattan, mother and mother-in-law of Forest and Betty Reavis, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2003.
Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept.
8, at Yorgensen-Meloan-Loudeen Funeral Home in Manhattan. Burial will follow in Westmoreland Cemetery at Westmoreland.
She was preceded in death by son, Edwin and daughters, Fausta Kaiser and Viola Reavis.
Other survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Jackie Reavis of Jacksonville, Ore.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and two great-greatgrandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Yorgensen-Meloan- Loudeen Funeral Home of Manhattan has charge of the arrangements.

James G. Cram

James G. Cram, 67, Galena, father of Daryl Cram of Augusta, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2003 at a Joplin, Mo., hospital.
His graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Lowell Cemetery in Lowell, KS.
The family is receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m. this evening at the Derfelt Funeral Home in Galena.
Memorials to the the Council House Friends Church are suggested and may be sent to the funeral home.
In addition to son Daryl and wife Mary Ann, of Augusta, Mr. Cram leaves four other sons, a sister, 12 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
