Dixie Raedine Crandall

Dixie Raedine (Bell) Crandall, 68, Augusta, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2003.
Her memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Augusta Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Congregation. Burial was private.
Raedine worked for the City of Augusta for 39 years and was secretary to five city managers.
She enjoyed painting, gardening and was a current member of the Augusta congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Raedine was born in Klamath Falls, Ore. in 1935 to Carl 0. and Docia (Smith) Bell.
Survivors include: father, Carl Bell of Douglass; sister Carol Bates of Douglass; step children, Lana Riegel of Hiawatha, Sandra Hill of Norman, Okla., Tom Crandall of Dodge City; nieces, Valerie Melton of Edmond, Okla., and Lori Roberts of Perkins, Okla., several grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Crandall and her mother, Docia Bell.
In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, 67202.
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.

Funeral Home of Augusta.

Jesse Snow Blankenship

Jesse Snow Blankenship, 88, Udall, farmer and rancher, father and father-in-law of Beverly and Steve Russell of Augusta, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2003.
Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Ninnescah Cemetery, south of Udall.
Survivors include: wife, Laura of the home; son, Gary Blankenship of Davenport, Wash.; daughter, Sharon Smith of Beaumont, Texas; foster son, Mike Edmundson of Winfield; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials have been established with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
Miles Funeral Service of Winfield is handling the arrangements.

Ralph Dale McCauley

R. Dale McCauley, 81, El Paso, Texas, formerly of Augusta, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2003.
No service is planned. Cremation was in El Paso. After serving in the U.S.
Army in World War II, Dale owned McCauley's
Jewelry store in downtown Augusta for a number of years.
Survivors are: wife, Margaret of El Paso, Texas; son, William McCauley of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister, Christine Guenthner of Wichita; three nephews.

Frances A. Uhl

Frances A. Uhl, 79, Bedford, Texas, homemaker, formerly of Augusta, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2003.
Her graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas.
Survivors include: husband, John W. Uhl; daughters, Linda Davis and Ellen Brooks; sister, Ruth Lawson; brother,
Norman Dainelsen; five grandchildren; 10 greatgrandchildren.
Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home of Colleyville, Texas is handling the arrangements.
