Ruby M. Troyer

Ruby M. Troyer, 80, Augusta, retired Beechcraft employee, died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2003.
Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.
Survivors are:' sons, Douglas Ward of Park. City, Jerry Becker of Fort Wayne, Ind'.; daughters, Bonnie Avila of Hutchinson, Peggy Thompson of Augusta, Rose Steele, Jean Becker, Gail Becker, all of Fort Wayne, Ind.; brother, Raymond Hoffman of Fort Wayne, Ind.; sisters, Mable Coulter of Fort Wayne, Ind., Eva Donley of Albion, Ind.; 15 grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Reno County.
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.

Glenn Fuller

Glenn Fuller, 83, Donna, Texas, retired Boeing employee, former Butler County resident, died Monday, Oct. 13, 2003.
His graveside service will be,held at noon Friday, Oct. 17, at Economy Cemetery in
El Dorado.
Survivors are: wife, Mildred; son, Joe of Oklahoma; brothers, Leroy, Clarence, and Kenneth; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews of Augusta.

Howard ‘Howie’ Holmes

Howard “Howie” Holmes, 68, Plains, orchard owner, brother of Ruth Kittle of Augusta, died Monday, Oct. 13, 2003.
His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 20, at Plains Methodist Church. Burial will follow at the Plains Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 19, with family present to receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home of Liberal.
Other survivors include: wife, Ernestine; sons, Roger Holmes of Plains, Merlin Holmes of Monument, Colo., Stuart Holmes of Hillsboro, Will Holmes of Upland, Ind.; daughter Janelle Moore of Wichita; sisters, Lila Parks of Holyrood, Joyce Holmes of Wichita, Lois Packard of Plains, Alice Sinclair of Cimarron; 17 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother, Claude W. Holmes, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Plains United Methodist Church or Taylor University in care of Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd, Liberal, 67901.

Margie Cleo Schaefer

Margie Cleo Schaefer, 77, Augusta, housewife and avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, with Rosary beginning at 7 p.m. at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27, at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Mrs. Schaefer was born in Collinsville, 111. on Nov. 2, 1925, the daughter of the late Herschel and Ivol K. (Whaley) Dunaway.
She was the wife of Joseph J. Schaefer. He survives.
Other survivors include: daughter, Kathryn T. Schaefer of Augusta; son, Dennis P. Schaefer of Marblehead, Mass.; sister, Lill Krone.
She was preceded in death by son, Richard Schaefer and sister, Lela Sherman.
Family requests Mass donations. Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.

Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of arrangements for Ruby E. Clippinger, 97, Augusta, retired Calvert’s who died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003.
Her graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Memorials to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, 67202, have been suggested.
