Olena L. Hilyard

Olena L. Hilyard, 90, Douglass, retired funeral director and former coowner of Hilyard Funeral Home, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003.
Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, at Douglass United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 28, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home in Douglass.
Survivors are: son, Brent of Douglass; daughter, Cheryl Griggs of El Dorado; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one niece and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Martin and Margaret (Hayes)
Ludvickson; husband, Glenn; sister, Thora Foyer; twin brother, Hayes Ludvickson.
Memorials established with Douglass United Methodist Church, Douglass Senior Center, and the Douglass Public Library.
Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

Jane D. Wilson

Jane D. Wilson, 83 Augusta, retired private practice medical nurse am business manager, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m Wednesday, Oct. 29, at Hillside Funeral Home East Chapel in Wichita.
Survivors include: sister, ZiRita Parcell of Augusta; step daughters, Susan Atkins of Kingman and Vicky Stephenson of Coral Gables, Fla.; numerous nieces, nephews, and step grandchildren.
Memorial has been established with the Augusta First Christian Church.
Hillside Funeral Home East of Wichita is handling the arrangements.

Ruby McNairy

Ruby McNairy, Augusta, homemaker, passed away [ Monday, Oct. 27, 2003.
Her graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, at Greenwich Cemetery, located at 37th Street North and Webb Road.
Visitation will be possible from 5 to 8 p.m Wednesday, Oct. 29, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Mrs. McNairy was born in Labette County and was the daughter of the late E.R. and Margaret (Toben) Hodges.
She was the wife of Francis “Corky” McNairy.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by: son, Michael and his wife, Pam of Taft, Calif.; grandchildren, Jeffrey E. Colen of Sacramento, Calif., Elizabeth J. Colen of Bellingham, Wash.; special daughter, Joann and her husband, Dusty Latham of Augusta; special grandchildren, Brody and Britney Latham; special doggies, Tiffany and Tyler.
Family request donations to Kansas Humane Society, 4218 SE Blvd., Wichita, 67201.
Arrangements are under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.
