Ralph L. Smith

Ralph L. Smith, 89, Lakepoint Nursing resident, retired Smith Grocery clerk, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, at Union Cemetery in Winfield.
Visitation with family from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary in Wichita.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, James and Minnie, brothers, Glenn and Howard, and sister, Mildred.
DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary of Wichita is handling the arrangements.

Kelley F. Boggess

Kelley F. Boggess, 80, Wichita, retired Boeing Wichita tooling employee, father of Janice Sutton of Augusta, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2003.
There will be no funeral service.
Other survivors include: wife, Bertie B.; son, Jerry of Wichita; daughter, Kathie Montague of Wichita; brother, Van Boggess of Halfway, Mo.; sisters, Mary Staddt and Elloitte Holt, both of Wichita; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Resthaven Mortuary of Wichita has charge of the arrangements.

Charles Phillip Boyer

Charles Phillip Boyer, 76, Augusta, retired Martin Marietta Rock Quarry employee, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003.
His graveside service will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Moline Cemetery.
Survivors are: wife, Mary Fern Boyer; daughters Nancy Kay Barnett of El Dorado, Nita Kim Allen of Augusta; six grandchildren; sisters, Grace Debow, Anne Ruth Goff, Dotsy Biggers, Nita Morgan, Billy Warren, Shirley Armstrong, Faye Sweeny; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Overton and Ida Boyer; brothers, Russel, James, and Malcom Boyer; great-granddaughter, Kaylin Marie Barnett.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Zimmerman Funeral Home in Howard for the First Baptist Church of Moline and the First Southern Baptist Church of Augusta for church camp youth scholarships.

Charles ‘Stan’ Rawlings

Former Augustan Charles "Stan" Rawlings, 70, of Columbia, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 31, 2003.
No services are scheduled. He served 21 years in the U.S. Army and attained the rank of lieutenant colonel. He was a member of Missouri United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: wife, Marsha of the home; son, Scott Rawlings of Columbia, Mo.; daughters, Tressa Rawlings and Shelly Silvey, both of Columbia; two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Tressa (Cochran) Rawlings.
Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Columbia, Mo.

Donna Morford

Donna Morford, 55, Wichita, retired postal employee, mother of Linette Koranda of Augusta, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2003.
Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 3, at Kersenbrock Funeral Home in Colby.
Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Downing & Lahey Mortuary East in Wichita.
Other survivors include: sons, Timothy Morford of Kanopolis, Andrew Morford of the home; parents, Don and Vera Saddler of Colby; brothers, Carl and Lyle Saddler, both of Colby; sisters, Carol Harshbarger of Norton, Wynn Duffey of Colby; two granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Victory in the Valley, 3755 E. Douglas, Wichita, 67218.
Downing & Lahey Mortuary East of Wichita has charge of the arrangements.
